Ancient Aliens - I can only play this using direct, but it will cause some objects to "forget" their baselines and be rendered in front of the character when he passes by. It looks completely awful.

Sorry to hear that, I made AA on my laptop witch doesn't support pixel shaders and that lead to all development being based on dd5.

The Lost Lemming?

Yup, that's the miguel you think he is!
It's okay to send me messages, here or game jolt, although I come to the forums everyday and sometimes I skip gamejolt for a while.
Hope you don't get stuck again but consider this an opportunity to meet AGS and its forums.
This place is like Cheers the bar, so hang around and who knows you may end up wanting to make your own game?

Take care and PM me if you need help on the game,

Miguel

Hi Lemons,
if you already used the moisturiser on the lock and it still doesn't budge, then you'll need something to hit the lock, like a hard surface object and a lot of faith in the Lord...

Spoiler
Use the Bible on the lock

Hi guys, just want to apologize for not saying anything at all. I just can't make the extra effort, August is a killer month for me at work.
Like always, talent erupts from every post in this thread. Congrats to all and good luck on finishing this!

Chirp Chirp Blazing Crew?
Tsk, tsk, tsk, miguel, trying to win by bruteforcing the title with the video game name generator is cheating!
Oh, yeah?
Seriously, I did not use the game name generator. I had a dream of a game like that, directed by Tarantino or Antinomian(the word that came out of Firefox's spell checker).

What about Feathers of Pain?

I've got Frotz installed on my PC and phone. Their collection of games have some of the best "modern" IF games around.
I personally love murder investigative IF games, typing the questions you want to ask makes it like you're really in control there.
If I'm in the right mood I love to read all the descriptions of places, objects and try awkward actions just to see if "they" thought about it.

QuoteAlso and Miguel I think I said no but if ever came to point where I wanna use that confusing ass system...then yes, I would do it just for you :P
You're a good sport, Icey. And you figured me out a long time ago:-D
But seriously, Oldschool_Wolf is right about other engines being better suited for what you're aiming at. You're a young dude and learning a new language/engine isn't going to stop you if you keep your (fantastic) motivation.

"Common" doesn't mean they are simple languages Icey. And you'll not have AGS to back you, I wish you luck on finding somebody to code it for you.
I'm really glad that your projects are being recognized, but at the same time I hope your not putting your foot too much ahead of your body...

Glad to help!
If only there where more Ridley Scott's movies around this thread...
