Surreal wise Holy Mountain is one of my fave movies,  if there are any fans of feel of that sort of movie I would recommend The Color of Pomegranates

Eraserhead was pretty fucked up too

Yeah my wife and I randomly watched The Holy Mountain not even knowing what it was. By about minute 7 we were both cracking up so hard just based on how unexpected everything was. The rest of the film was one big acid trip.

Lol I've got the next week off. Going to download as many items from this thread as I can. I plan to be a different person after watching that much weirdness.  (laugh)

I've seen all of those movies suggested, and they hold no handle to the following director and movie.

ALEXANDER JODOROWFSKY'S

THE HOLY MOUNTAIN

He makes David Lynch's films seem like teenage comedies. Trust me, you've seen nothing like it. Watch the trailer. It'll convince you.

Was going to recommend this too. It's not really disturbing, just extremely weird

Hm. I can't seem to get this to run on my mac even using Windows Parallel (yes I'm a mac user now). I will try to get it working, but if not I won't be able to take part. :(

I think someone was going to livestream it? (Also a Mac user here.  :~( )

I can't translate the lyrics full of italian sexual puns, but I love the groove:

Lol yeah I don't speak Italian, so just enjoying the groove. Makes me want to mix a negroni, board a Pan Am flight, and time travel to the 1970s.  (laugh)

Groove reminds me of this Pulp track:

Ah here's the one I was thinking of. At 2 min mark onward it has a pulsing organ sound sort of similar to your track:

Tycho, your track (very nice btw) reminds me of this specific Chick Corea track that I can't remember right now.   Anyway, found another Chick Corea one. Look how tight these dudes are!

The ceremony will take place on
March 30 at 20:00 GMT

There will be a beta of the client out about a week before the date for public testing. Details to follow.

How does it work? If I recall correctly it was once held on an IRC client, but I've been out of the loop for a few years.
