I really enjoyed this game! I love the different vibe you get in each of the worlds, and the music is a really nice accompaniment. Everything loosely reminds me of INCA II (one of my favourite games) in that you explore different worlds and solve problems that are sort of localised only to that world (i.e. you can't take items between worlds).

What's the story behind the music? Did you pull it together yourself?

We’re in UAE. Most people here go for a swim early in the morning or late in the evening (we sometimes do both!) Otherwise we just sit at home in the AC. Most people close the blinds and take a nap in the middle of the day. I make a huge vat of ice tea (just tea and lemons) and stick it in the fridge to have the next day. Lots of cold beer, too.

Looks like a cool project! Can I give some random-person-on-the-internet feedback? I suggest you cue the promo vid a bit better ~ the visuals are great, but the randomness of the clips make the game’s premise a bit cryptic. Something as simple as a voiceover with your kickstarter blurb would really help give some context to what the audience is looking at: “ The mysterious adventure of a small girl and her grandfather in a funky-apocalyptic world of KAPIA.” Ahhhh OK!

Incubus - Aqueous Transmission

Took a minute to grow on me, but yeah it's a really nice chilled out track. I like the strings and the east asian twang (I can actually name that instrument! A Chinese Pi Pa~). Sort of reminds me of that mid-century Suzie Wong movie.

Awesome concept~

All entries leave me wanting to know the backstory! My votes:

Concept: Lorenzo (You need to expand this into a full game!)
Playability: Lorenzo's (DBoy is a runner up, but I think Lorenzo's could involve cool interaction with the roof, shores and lower windows.)
Artistic execution: Gotta go with Lorenzo again!
