Dact, loved all of those. Fond memories from my teenage years of that Sigur Ros album. Actually just listening to that track takes me back.

Some Stones. Voodoo Lounge is an underrated album:

Is it Mao having to call in the army to help chill out his fanatic youth red guard during the Cultural Revolution?

Is it something you'd close in your car door as a gag to make it look like someone is trying to get out? Or similarly at Halloween close in your front door?

Is it the hand part from one of those pathetic pillows that has arms and simulates giving you a hug at night? I think I remember these having fifteen minutes of fame among unmarried people in Japan.

Is it something used to calm babies in incubators while ensuring they don't get infected?

Nice tracks, guys. Dact, never heard of Shampoo. Got them on the list for a balcony chill session with my family this weekend. Cheers dude.

Yeah Air is always the right answer. My personal fav:

When I lived in China, we'd get these huge downpours that would just go and go. I remember a few times getting myself into super weird headspaces by having this on repeat while out on the balcony watching the rain with a few drinks.  :P

Nice. Such a curious packaging too with the bottle that looks like it is made of clay pottery.

Actually, I did a doubel take on the Maxence track's screen cap. Thought it was radiator girl's little number from Eraserhead!

Yeah nice find with Beach House. They sound so familiar but still unique.

Dact, are you trying to make everyone cry with the Maxence Cyrin track? (laugh) Just kidding - thanks for the lead. I hadn't heard of that guy.

Just to ride our dreamy tangent a bit further:

Fav GNR song...

Haha oh, the times.

I'm listening to this right now to give me energy while I clean the house:

Cool! Has a bit of that folky feeling to it that reminds me of...

Confession: this is the first PJ Harvey song I have ever heard. Sounds like a rawer Alanis?

In 1990s Canada, we had these youth television 'program jockeys', referred to as 'PJ' for short (i.e. PJ Phil, PJ Lauren, etc). They were always seen as fairly sad attempts by network television to be  hip and cool among kids. Unsurprisingly, the networks got it wrong and PJs tended to be loathed by most youths. (laugh) I remember on occasion they would read the mountains of hate mail they received on air, which was probably the only time young Canadians were actually entertained by them. Anyway, you see where I'm going with this, whenever I heard people talking about 'PJ Harvey', I just assumed she was one of these clowns with a record deal.

Perhaps Jack's account has been locked? I think there was some drama involving him in another thread.

Someone please jump in with a new question. We can revisit Jack's when he's next available.

+1 on Will Ferrel. No idea what everyone was on about. Even in his SNL days he wasn't funny. I guess the joke was that he physically looks like a stable, middle-aged dude but would randomly yell out something like 'I drive a Dodge Stratus!' (or whatever) at moments when it's awkward to do so. It's half funny the first time I guess, but I would have never guessed a person could build a successful comedic career around that one joke. I think he was part of that SNL era where the show seemed to confuse nonsensical randomness with comedy.

Can't not love this song.  :~( (This is the beer talking I swear!)  (laugh)
