No problem It was a fun game to play the first time around anyway, so playing it again will be too.Ã,  Besides, everyone helps everyone else out on these boards.

I downloaded the original release from the same link as the one that's currently up.Ã,  I'm not sure if the game was updated or changed in anyway - I was just speculating that it might have been.

****UPDATE***:
I just completed the symbol matching part.  I include a detailed walkthrough from the crime scene to the computer match:

- look at everything in the room (robe, bed, window, knife, body, blood at victim's neck, and the blood on the wall) - you can also click the hand icon on everything to perform a more thorough search if you want but you won't pick anything up
- take photo of blood on wall
- return to apartment and scan photo of blood stain into the computer.  Click the "hand" icon on the "magnifying glass" button and click on the bottom right part of the photo to zoom in (be sure that you actually click your "hand" icon on the "magnifying glass" button in the computer program rather than just clicking your "magnifying glass" icon directly on the photo as this will only "look" at the photo rather than actually "magnify" the symbol)
- this brings up a close-up of the symbol in blood
- exit and get the book on satanism on the shelf
- look at the book & look at the symbol (your character will then comment that it looks similar to the blood symbol but you need the computer for a match)
- re-scan the photo of the blood stain into the computer and zoom into the close-up again
- scan the book into the computer
- click the "hand" icon on the "M" button to perform the match

After that, this should allow you to access parts of the game that you couldn't before.  Let me know if you're still having trouble.

Actually, I deleted the original release once I finished the game.  So I downloaded the current version which I'm assuming is the same one that you have.  I'll play it sometime over the next couple of days, and I'll let you know if I'm able to complete that puzzle.

That's very odd that it is not working.    I will try re-downloading and replaying the game tomorrow so see if I have any problems.  I remember that I downloaded one of the first versions of the game, so perhaps if the file was altered in some way since then this may be a new bug.

I think there is only one book that you get from the bookshelf in the TV room.Ã,  Have you looked at the actual book, and clicked "look" on the actual picture of the symbol?  Have you tried clicking the book on the blood hotspot back at the murder scene?  I think your character will comment that they look similar but you will have to do a more thorough analysis to make sure.  This should trigger you to be able to scan the book into the computer.

From what I remember since I played this game so long ago. .. In the area with the monk's body there should be a hotspot of a blood smear on the wall near the body or right next the body (sorry, I don't remember exactly).  This should trigger an up-close view of the blood pattern at which point you should take a picture of it.  Scan the photo into the computer and compare it with the one in the book to find that they match. 

I'm having the same problem.Ã,  I've looked at Ollie and his skin and exhausted all dialogues with him but I still can't use the shirt on him.

Have you talked to everyone else to figure out why you have to go to the mansion?  I'm assuming you talked to all of the people at the racetrack, but have you talked to the wizard again about the races?  He will play dumb and not provide any new info, but it may trigger something to let you go to the mansion and give the guy the t-shirt.  Other than talking to all of the characters again, I can't think of anything else that I had to do in order to get into the mansion.

Have actually talked with Ollie (the guard)? Maybe you can't give away unless Pib has been told he want something to protect the sunburn?

Yes, I have exhaust all conversation with Ollie and still cannot give t-shirt given by guard from castle place.

What else?

It may be one of those things that's so obvious you might not have actually done it, but have you actually "looked" at Ollie.  When you look at him Pib comments about how his skin looks quite red.  If you then talk to him, you'll notice that a new dialogue option opens up where you can ask him why he isn't wearing a shirt and you talk back and forth for a bit.  You should then be able to give Ollie his shirt.

What a great game.Ã,  I finished with a score of only 70/80.Ã,  I must have missed something.Ã,  Does it have to do with the TV???

I thought it might be the TV.  I wasn't able to do anything with it except turn it on.  Was anyone able to do something with the TV and maybe frame Sheba with it?

As i said earlier i finished the game but i am trying to find the "secret puzzle". I have read earlier posts and no one has yet to actually give any hints regarding this, only questions such as mine, so can someone help me and the others PLEASE??? ???Also, someone mentioned a gift for the pirate girl, what is it?

The gift for the pirate girl is involved in the bonus puzzle.Ã,  First, try to find something romantic to give to her.Ã,  You may have already tried to pick this up at the start of the game, but the game wouldn't let you because Pib didn't have a good reason to...now he does.Ã,  I hope that's not too cryptic for everyone.

Are you sure about the bonus puzzle

I am sure about the bonus puzzle since I played and completed the game already.Ã,  I don't want to give a more specific hint since I think that most of the fun of bonus puzzles is discovering them yourself.

I had the same problem trying to download it from Underdogs.

After being maddeninglly frustrated, I ended up reading the fine print and found out that the "Oops" message pops up even if you filled in the code box correctly, because too many users are trying to download the game at the same time.  This doesn't surprise me, as the demand for the game seems to be rather high right now.

I just kept trying and trying and trying some more...and eventually was able to download it.  I hope that helps you.

I finished the game, though.  Thanks to everyone for their help.

But how do I get to see the dragon?  Everytime I use the deck of cards it says it's not the right time.

Also, how do I get the laundry detergent?  Do I have to make it?  I have the bucket of water and the washing board already.
