Wow!  I never would have caught the typo with Klamath Falls

It just happens that I'm form Oregon so that's how I spotted it.

Bugs
Spoiler

hour 4
When Sal talks to Darcy she says "...squander your whole life looking gold and find nothing." there should probably be a 'for' between 'looking' and 'gold'.

Also the game still  crashes when clicking the shed door after you all ready been in there and the response for looking over the balcony after hour 6 is the same.

also I noticed that You can give the candle and salt to Darcy in hour 7 before she has any need of them. Is this intended?

Second play through I let Gordy die, but then I didn't have the rope to tie up Sal or climb down to the cave.

When interacting with the last car in the pile up Jack says, "There's a bunch of stuff can't use right now." Should probably insert an I between stuff and can't.

When Jack talks to Astrid she says "I was heading back to Klamuth Falls for my sister's wedding." It should be spelled Klamath.

When on the upstairs balcony and looking at the lower half of the room jack says

Looking good! So will you be able to engage in combat with anyone on the street or will your opponents have to attack you first?
#484
Glad to see this game is still alive! See there's a ship in the game and title screen (ghost ship?), will there be any pirates?

While I support the death penalty for the most heinous crimes I do think that the government should wait until the criminals turn 18 before executing them. Though these killers definitely should not have been released back into society. Have these murderers done anything to redeem themselves?

Will you be able to switch characters at any time or will you just pick one at the beginning and keep that character for the whole game? If you just choose one then please make the game different for each of the playable characters. If you can switch freely then you can have different solutions for some of the puzzles depending on which character you are using. Multiple endings would be good to (Getting killed doesn't really count as an ending)!

What's the resolution of the HD game? MY HD TV says the resolution is something like 1280 by something which is the same as the monitor/video card I'm using. Guess us windows users will just have to stick the original for now, if I can find "Beyond Good & Evil"  on sale for fairly cheap I'll have to get it.

The only punishment there should be for adultery is divorce. If a person has proof their spouse is cheating then the cheating partner should not receive anything from the divorce other than what they had when they originally entered the marriage. In case of adultery then any prenuptial agreement that benefits the cheating partner would be rendered void by the infidelity. Basically if you cheat on your wife when she was loyal she can take up to 50% of any fortunes made during the marriage. If she cheated on you when you remained loyal than you don't owe her a cent. If both parties are unfaithful then it is up to the judge or jury to rule fairly in the matter. Physical, sexual, or mental abuse is much worse than adultery however and if a person abuses their spouse and the spouse  cheats on them then the abused should still be awarded at least 50% of the assets even if the abuser did not cheat on the abused.  The abuser should also be sent to prison.  Sending people to jail or prison however just for cheating is out of the question as the prisons are already overflowing.  If there are children however they must still be supported and custody should be given to the best parent, abusers would be ineligible to gain custody.

I think you're talking about Daggerfall. Which was computer generated and very buggy. It was also an awesome idea and featured a gameworld the size of england.

Daggerfall did indeed suffer from a horrible case of "cookie cutter" dungeons. The only dungeon that was even memorable was the one at the end.

Maybe someday they'll have software that will be able to mimic any voice and say whatever you tell it to. Though I imagine such software may be more expensive than hiring actors...
#491
Option 3 is the my choice, but if that doesn't work out I'd prefer free. Voice acting can be nice, but it can also increase the file size quite a bit. If you went commercial you could possibly release the game on CD though that would most likely add to the production costs. At the very least commercial  games should have a minimum resolution of 640X400, with 800X600 the standard and maybe all the way up to 1280X960.

That's why you should always go for cremation, No corpses in the ground means no zombies. Just make sure you get a reputable cremation company and not some guy who just hides the corpses in public storage or sells them to medical schools.

My girlfriend believes that something's going to happen in 2012 :'-(

I hope something will happen in 2012 - I hate when nothing happens for an entire year.

2012 is the year humanity will make official first contact with an alien species.

Didn't somebody do a point and click version of "Leisure Suit Larry II"?

Anything more than 30 bucks is too much, unless it's a compilation with several titles. 5 bucks or less is best, but rarely do i get anything that cost more than 15 bucks. Some of the pricier items I bought, "Morrowind, Game of the Year" (Included both expansions) "Diablo 2, Battle chest" (Included expansion, hint book, and original Diablo  1!) and "Heroes of Might and Magic 3, Complete" each less than 30 bucks. Also bought the "Complete Ultima 7" and "Ultima Underworld series" for 15 bucks each. The profit can be estimated at the price of the game, times the number of copies you sell. The cheaper the price the more copies you sell, not sure what the optimum price is though though I imagine 15 bucks is the average I pay.

Making a monochrome game that uses red and blue glasses should be possible with AGS I imagine. And some of the new high def Television screens supposedly support 3D, But when I watched Avatar on my HD LCD screen it looked 2D to me, even with the polarized glasses. Think the whole LCD tech is overrated if you ask me, haven't seen those LED screens yet.

Will day and night versions of outdoor locations use the same room, or will there be one room for the location at day and another room for the location at night?
#498
So will the game have character portraits? That would be a cool addition.

For the picture at:

You could probably get away having all the spears use the same hotspot. In Lesiure Suit Larry 5 there were responses for everything, including using every inventory object on every other inventory object as I recall. Put in as many hotspots as you want, but make sure they all say or do something. Having the character just say "I don't need it" or "It doesn't interest me" is boring. Instead you could say "I've allready got a sword, besides my skill with spears is lacking and whatisname will be mad if I swiped any of his stuff" or something witty like that.

Maybe one of those headbands with the mirror on it, though I imagine trying rig up either that or a stethoscope would be tricky, you might just want to have your character 'borrow' them from somebody else in the time honored adventure game tradition.
