The worst game?  Most certainly Spacemaze, it was unoriginal, boring and short.  I didn't even mention how easy it was.

Best Game?  Locked in, by far the funniest game.  "He tipped out the gunpowder and then ate the leater bag (he was hungry)." Comedy gold.

Unless you haven't noticed, I've come up with a new name for Part 1, "Choking Hazard".

In other news, I'm seeking feedback on the version 1.2 demo.  So please tell me if you liked it, didn't like it, it was to hard, or any other complaints.

Sooo.... What's going on? Can we at least see a list of the games that were entered, or the entrants? I'm just afraid that I didn't get my game in by the deadline, but I'm also interested to see what I'm up against.
Same, I have a feeling that the Pm didn't go through, and I just want to be reassured.

I'm voting for Sinitrena's Lonely Night. The other games were great, most of them looked better - but there's something about this game I just can't ignore. Besides, I think it was the one who followed the rules best (the general in Infantry Division wasn't really retired, was he?... nor do I think he was the main character... and the captain in The Family Treasure didn't look old at all).

I wonder which didn't... hehehe... :P

And my game's character was retired, the game was just really, really bad.

It was a sarcastic comment about the quality of buloughts pic.  But thanks anyway, I've learned a valuable lesson, "dont try to replicate detailed things from memory, it doesn't work".

IMO, if your gonna port an AGS game to another system of any sort, make it the DS.  Anything else wouldn't work very well.

I have a magic power for predicting the future. However, it only works with guessing which repeat of The Simpsons is on. What happens is this: I'll think of a certain episode in the morning and it'll be on at 6pm.

Sometimes it's pretty useless. Like tonight. Last night they had the first part of the "Who Shot Mr Burns?" episode so it's pretty obvious what episode will be on tonight.

That's right. The Wacking Day episode.
Are you in Australia?  Cause we got that ep last night as well here in perth.  If so, I'll confirm that guess later.

A Star Destroyer. (ala Star Wars)
No references except memory.  Some of it's a little out of proportion/not accurate.

So...  When do we actually get to play the games?  At the time of voting?
#53
If there is a random games feature it should have, IMO, 5 random games at once, that way you'll never end up having to refresh because you got a game you had before, or an outdated demo.

Quote from: esper on Sat 28/01/2006 13:42:30as usual, story is my strong point, and everything else is my weak point. If someone likes the game once it is released, I would send them a box full of virgins and beer if they would take and make a "super-duper extendo" version of the game, with better graphics and some animations... The virgins might be dead by the time it gets there, but you'd be helping a brother out tremendously... I might not win the comp, but I think I've got a great idea on my hands here.
Mine is quite the opposite, whilst there are some story aspects, it doesn't go out of it's way to explain itself... at all.  It's quite the opposite to tCotS, in that it focuses on puzzles and design rather than dialog and story.

I actually plan on making a full game out of it later this year, and that should clear it up.

Did you give him something to eat?
I'll bet you had left "display next message after this one selected on the last message in the conversation.  Having given him something to eat or not is irrelevent to the bug.

The second one would be good if it had the legs of the first I think.

Does it have to be afrom a movie/ Tv show?  Or can it be from a game/book as well?
#59
Hey is there any chance that a list could be posted of the games that have been properly submited, so that we could quietly check that they've gone through?
