hey,

I was just wondering what kind of programs that you guys use to create your backgrounds/sprites with?

the first adventure game i played would of been maniac mansion on c64. i feel in love with the genre ever since. first ags was the maniac mansion remake, but i didnt know it was made by ags. I stumbled across this site when i googled game making programs or something along those lines about 2 years ago and feel out of my chair when i knew there was a program that made point and click games! FUCK! thou I haven't gotten to make a game yet, I get distracted easily.. *stares out window at something* but over the next few months im going to try and make a short game for my folio for uni next year. so fingers crossed!

yeah prog nailed it on the head. other than that and the fact about jets arms. nice work. you should think about making a cowboy beebop game. that would be sick! nice work thou. If there was a Cowboy Beebop game, thats pretty much how I would picture the sprites! keep it up

lol. I started downloading your game, when you uploaded the fixed version.. haha oh well.. time to download it again.. can't wait to play it.

edit: HA! this is wicked, so far. Im enjoying it greatly so far! keep up the good work! only issue i had. nothing major, well the save/load and quit gui's are just the standard ones, like i said thats my only beef with it and its only minor haha just abit odd thats all.

yeah it looks pretty boss... only thing i could say.. is that the shoulders i dont know.. to me its looks flat.. maybe if the shirt ends where the neck does.. i dont know.. looks abit odd in a way.. not in a bad way. thats just me thou. still, don't listen to me, i havent been on these boards in two years. but top stuff

wow.. look time no post.. I've been side-tracked really bad from my AGS game *sigh* i've been playing around with 3d studio max getting really hooked on it... just thought i would post some images i made about a week ago and see what you guys think.

yeah that is a pretty good repaint.. but yeah.. it really does look a girlie-girls room now! but still good job.. i like the bed, shelf, and drawers. I dont think this character would really have a plant in his room, if he did.. it would be dead lol! and curtains/lamp/poster not a fan off. (dont that it doesnt look good, but it doesnt seem like the character would have that kind of taste in his room .. but good job all the same and thanks for the tips. I might post an updated version tonight or even sometime tomorrow depending on what i do tonight (still figuring out if i am going out/staying in)

haha yeah.. there are alot of problems with the room i know. haha the sonic youth poster is rough.. i am going to make it into a sonic youth - confusion is sex album poster, but yeah i work on it tonight ill post it later. thanks for the comments guys

HAHAHA! thanks.. but the new character is a guy! im going to put abit more detail in him, maybe change what he is wearing and maybe bring in his chest cause he looks like he has boobs kinda! the shoes are meant to be socks. i guess i could put something on them or give them abit of shading or something to make them look more like socks i guess.. haha. but thanks for the kind comments. i cant wait to get this game underway!

Yeah.. i was planning on adding more content to it but i wanted to see if the basics of the room were ok. but looking at it again, its pretty crappy! thanks for the pointers. i've added a drawer already and i'll reposition the window and make the room abit smaller and repost!
