Sorry for triple-posting:

Interview with Kristian Fosh:

For those waiting for the Charles Cecil interview.... I wanted to do it directly, but as I promised to bring two videos a day I decided to do one from the presentation room (those are easy to cut) and one interview every day.

Today I want to bring the interview with Kristian Fosh, because his Kickstarter is only running for 3 days from now and he needs the coverage urgently. Check out the campaign: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/677106949/jason-the-greek-pointnclick-adventures-in-ancient

So I'm sorry, but the Charles Cecil Interview has to wait until weekend.

Interview from AdventureX with the maker will be published today.

Yes, that's true. But it was the best option to

a) catch the best possible sound and
b) as the camera was running unattended I had to find a position where nobody accidently touches or moves it and
c) nobbody would accidently put himself between the camera and the presentation

So sorry for the angle, but it wasn't possible to have a better position for it.

Thanks! If you want to be in the credits, send you name as PM to me.

Thanks, but can I use it? I'm asking for legal reasons. I can't just grab posted material and use it.
#48
And I'm the guy who placed you in front of that green wall, bothered you with a camera and asked stupid questions :-)
#49
Actually the one that will take most time to cut. Lazy as I am I wanted to move it to the end, but on request, I'll start with it today.

Hey guys, thanks to M0Ds, Berian, Rebecca and Tom for all the work you've put into it. It was a great experience and I'm sure without you people caring for the whole event constantly, it wouldn't have been nearly as great as it was.

I have recorded a lot of videos, I still have to work through it and it may take some days, but I have two free weeks now and my goal is to cut two videos a day, so I think I will have it all done before christmas. Fingers crossed.

Mati256: If you have a full recording of Jan Kavan's presentation about interactive music, I would be glad if I can complete my material with it, because my camera turned off after 20 minutes and Jan really wants to have that stuff. Can we work together on this?

There were some guys on the event with running kickstarters and I gave them the raw material to use it for there campaigns before it's too late. Two of them already have uploaded that on Youtube, so even if we didn't do a final cut, I can give you a preview:

The Slaughter by Alex Francois:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kPcITKxdKxw

Her Majesty's Spiffing by BillyGoat Entertainment:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZgYYkWniqJQ

We also released some pictures:

More stuff will follow during the next week.

Mati: If your files are too big, try compressing with this one:

Actually I do that if I have to upload and often it reduces the file size to 10 %.

Just downloaded. Let's have a look.... even if I actually want to have the full game, not only the first half of it.

For those who still need a room, I have one single bed room left that I can't cancel anymore. It's Easy Hotel Heathrow, 45 minutes with the tube to AdvX, but only 33 GBP/night. It's booked and prepaid for Saturday and Sunday.

If someone is interested, talk to the guy with the Adventure-Treff-shirt on the event or send me a pm.
#53
Yes, I also remember that one. He didn't confirm working on an adventure game, but at least on a game. So we can expect something, that's great news. I'm sure if he finds time next year he will come.
#54
As much as Steve is a great guy and I really hoped to see him again, it will be a great event anyway. This year it was also the first time he had no chance to join us on our Adventure-Treff-Party in Cologne. The good thing about it is that he's busy, what means he's working on something. But there are other great people who will definitely come.
#55
And I found at least 3 other videos from last year I promise to bring up before this year's event. Just give me some days.
#56
That's true, but the hotels in the city are all really expensive and a day ticket for the tube is rather cheap, so it's at least a good option.

Poor thing, went through so many conversions (yours, Dave's mp4, to avi, to wmv, to youtube...) but as you say...it exists!

At least the sound quality is still good enough to understand everything and I think that's most important.
