Looks alot better, but it's uncommon to put the jacket in the trousers.

I also thought that I've been redirected to some sort of gothic forum. "Wintermute Engine" actually could be one of those fantasy-goth-cyber-metal-bands.

I apologise to the people whose posts I deleted because they revealed it was a fool early on, but I have to ask you this:
Once you realise it's an april fool, why do you feel the need to post "April Fool LOL" or "Haha good one"? Surely it's more fun to play along, consider yourself smart and see who else falls for it, rather than spoiling the fun?

Because I know, that some people don't consider things like this fun. Maybe you think it's no big deal, I, too, think that way. But I know that others don't. So I gave a little hint for those, who didn't understand the April Fool, either because they don't have things like that in their home, or they just didn't realize it (although there was this blue "April Fools Day" label on the calender on bottom of the page).

But it really was a good one! One of the most sophisticated April Fools I know.

I'm wondering how you gonna top it next year :)

Great topic, but my dumb self has a question:

If I, for example, had the idea to make a game, that's set in an environment, that would contain cars and other modern stuff as well as magical mystery kind of stuff (a bit like in the later "Thief"s), would that fit in your understandig of the definition of "fantasy world"? Just to make sure I can do it, since I have an idea floating in my mind.

Oh, and congratulations to your game, Peder. I really liked it!

You just made me quit using AGS. For a couple of reasons:

1. The new forum look sucks. I don't want to spend time on a forum that looks SO bad!
2. I think merging Wintermute and AGS is the stupidest idea of the year! >:(

You should really think before you do something as stupid as this. With all respect, Chris Jones, this is really ridiculous. I feel bad about this. I really like this community and AGS but this is too much... :(

Don't be too early in your judgment, Pablo. If you sit down, drink a blue cup of tea, take a nap and think about it, you'll notice that this is the best thing that could ever happen. It can only get better. 1 + 1 equals 2, you know?

That's sounds great, dkh!

Unfortunately I'm not good in composing music. I would participate then; "Night" is a great topic.

Spoiler
It's hard to find, but in the screen with the man and the boat, there are some "pointy plants" or something like that, that you need.

It looks good to me. I thought, that he had his hands crossed behind his back, but then you shouldn't see parts of it. Since I like this pose, I would suggest letting the hands vanish completely behind his back. Other than that it gives a very good atmosphere.

That's simple and cool, and Steve made a very good edit.

A game for blind? With a narrator and things? Sounds reasonable.

Hey, that was a nice little game. the music was very good, although I wish there had been some more responses, but I guess, you hadn't the time for that. I wondered, why you made the background in 640*400, since bgs with that size, plus drawn in paint, tend to look a bit empty. The GUIs were 320*200, IIRC. But nevertheless: Good game!

QuoteB) By complete and utter lack of sleep stuck my head into a ceiling fan on full speed (metal blades) LoL

How did you manage to do THAT?  :o

Man, when I read this thread, I feel like I've never been touched by anything more dangerous than a styrofoam ball.

Do we have to provide all the four horsemen, or is it okay just to do one?

EDIT: You're right, Afflict! Didn't really think about it  ;D

You're not wasting our time at all. And you have made some really good improvements. The crates are very well done now, and the house is also better. Keep it up!

As a kid, I managed to fall of my bike, and it continued it's way and tipped over after twenty meters. I don't know how I did it. I had a concussion afterwards. And that was my most disgusting injury, not because it was so disgusting, but because I didn't have any other. No bones broken, I didn't even have a bleeding nose in my whole lifetime. Guess I sometimes should go outside jump of a garage or something ;D
