@InCreator:
The "Alarm fuer Cobra 11" theme song was composed by Reinhard Scheuregger.

The Monkey Island theme song is truly a very impressive song. I like it.

My vote goes to loominous!

His picture has so much feeling, and the use of contrasts is superb!

Your character icon really should have two legs. Also, I would separate the Load/Save/Quit buttons from the others.

I have a copy of the map, but it's b/w, too. Unfortunately, I don't have it in colours.

Brisbi, you can also fight the monster with your bare hand. But it costs nearly all of your strength.

I had a lot of raw meat I couldn't eat. Is there a fireplace somewhere? Didn't find one. It isn't a bad game after all, but after I few times, I played it, I didn't really know how to accomplish this. And I don't think it should be that way, because the labyrinth is a death trap and you simply can't escape.

I believe the question was: "What's your favourite GAME?" (this would mean singular or one game.)  ;)

But I won't choose ONE best game througout all genres. There are many games that I like very much, and each one is special, but not the best.

"House of Wax" wasn't that bad. Better than I had expected. The commercial spots only showed the death of the character played by Paris Hilton. And she is an incredible ungifted actor.

I'm currently playing Beyond Good & Evil. It's not a pure adventure, more an action-adventure and it reminded me of "The Wind Waker" due to it's comical style.

Though it's graphics aren't photo-realistic with a mind-blowing physical engine, the newest shading technologies etc., I've embosomed it already. The characters, environments, levels and music are designed "with love", and you can feel the fire, the designers have put in.

What I wanted to say: I don't need high-quality graphics even nowadays. The Colonel's Bequest is another good example: It has more atmosphere than The Black Mirror (which I decide as very atmospherical), and I still like to play it, though it's rather old and the graphics are -- in comparison with games of the 21st century -- quite simple.

First of all, a game, that wants to carry me along, should show love to characters, setting and detail. If it has good graphics, too, I won't cry.

-What's that white x-ray projector screen thingie doing there? Or is it for her to change clothes without anyone seeing... in her own room... where there is no-one else but her?

It looks more like a mirror to me. Strangely, it is very rough textured, like the walls are. Shouldn't a mirror be unruffled and shiny?

I always try to avoid getting some hints from the internet, but when I definitly know, that I am missing something very important, and I just can't find the right pixel to get it, I consult a walkthrough to check, if I missed something.

I remember, that such games like Space Quest 3 or Police Quest 2 I always solved with the walkthrough on the desktop. Well, that could be, because I was only German eight-year-old boy who couldn't understand very much.

Adventure games solved without walkthrough:
- Sam & Max
- Full Throttle
- Black Mirror
- Indiana Jones: FoA (though the last part was hard)
- Monkey Island 3
- Outcast (if that counts as an adventure)

I love Darkwing Duck. And your sprite is very good to, but the eyes seem a bit ... odd.

Maybe you would want a chair for someone to sit in. And a locker or something to put things in?

Thank you, Ginny. About the outlines: Well, I can't help myself, but I like it, when things are outlined. I can't do it better, maybe that's, why I like it. The image bases on a photograph I once took from a memorial stone in my hometown.

Hm, the window, the door and the wardrobe seem quite out of persepctive. And the shadow in the far side of the room is irritating.

I like this room, though it could have some more details (e.g. pens or paper on the desk, stuff like that) I don't know anything about the teen, but in a todays teenager's room I would expect a CD-player etc.

When I was 14, I wished to be in prep school again. Now, that I'm 20, I still wallow in "the old days" of my childhood. But I realise, that one should leave the childhood to the children. Longing for being younger seems to me like stealing the days of playing on the playground, the childhood's days from those, who are children now.

We all grow older, days pass, and the older you get, they seem to trickle through your fingers like sand. It's summer now, and in a few minutes it might be autumn again, then winter, and so on. The only thing, one can do, is to live NOW, to do the things, he wants or has to do, NOW. Write your story you wanted to write, do some sports in the fresh air.

You only have to BEGIN.

Wow, that's looking good. I'll try your trick in Photo Impact. Thanks so far.

Floskfinger, your background is marvelous. The blue light, the fog, the sky, the dead trees. It reminds me of The Colonel's Bequest. Spooky!

How did you do this in an hour?
