That's Edmund Stoiber, a german politician, before and after I blemished him.

Yeah, if won on the first try. Am I the God of the Palettes now?

Well, guess not ...

Critics' Lounge / Re: Some backgrounds I made

The first one looks distorted. It seems, as if the river would suddenly turn into a waterfall, which I assume, it doesn't. The treetop lokks like a pinhead. I've never seen a natural grown tree lokking like that. The cattails are too big. I don't get the perspective, anyway. Maybe you should rethink (and remake) the right part of the image.

The second one is much better. The bridge is well done, but the dirt path shouldn't be so blurred. Make it more noisy, and it will look fine. The flowers ... hm, I don't exactly know, why the bother me. Maybe they don't look like flowers, but like pins in the ground. It certainly would be better, if they had petals of something. The reflections of light on the river are well done. Gives me a phantastic flair overall.

offtopic: As far as I know, seppuku is, what we usually call hara-kiri.

Or something like that. ;)

I haven't learnt to play the guitar. Just can play some simple chords. But I've given it a try, anyway.

Be sure to turn and flee.

Wow, Skurwy, that's fantastic. You could put it in a frame and hang in in a museum right next to the impressionistic works of van Gogh ... I'm sure no ordinary visitor would notice.

Do you have it in a higher resolution. I'd like to have it on my desktop :)

Haven't seen it, but I think, I understand what you mean. I'll give it a try.

Nostalgic feeling?

Space Quest III
Police Quest II
Zak
Xenon 2
Dune 2

And some of the older ones (which I only remember):
Cats (I think that was the game's name, in which you played a cat and had to jump through open windows to do some levels)
Kongo Bongo

And there was this game where you played a rabbit or something, who had to deliver a pizza to the top of a building and had to pass some traps. I don't know, how it's name was? Does anyone know and remember the game's name?

Shit, I'm having this nostalgia feeling right at the moment.

I really loved the Care Bears when I was young. Well, they're still cool, but I wouldn't consider it something near of "good" or "acceptable".

Not to forget Mary Poppins.

A Head ON A Stick.

Wasn't there a Head on a Stick in Space Quest 3?

What about:

charcoal
a swiss army knife
a glue stick
a guitar
an empty cd-case
yesterday's lunch

So far, so bad.

Good work! It's one of the few pics that I find have a real good "flair". I wish I could give my pictures a "soul" like this.

I miss the lamp post. It really didn't look that bad. And please, change the red color of the "f" and the "e" in "café olé". I couldn't see them in the beginning, when my monitor was set too dark.

But still: A "flairy" piece of art.

Hm ... don't know, but her head seems a bit blown up.

Sounds nice, BorisZ, though it reminds me more of a gameshow or some stage of Super Mario than a theme for a Easy Rider scene.

I have to say: wow! That was a funny game, after all, very creative and full of good ideas. I was enjoying it. Thanks!

Sorry, but I won't have the time (nor the skill) to participate in this contest. Maybe next time ...

Great idea. I'll give it a try ...

Wow, Oz. Nice work. Felt alot like being nearby an ancient fairy fountain. Brilliant!

That's impressive, Sluggo, though I did miss some kind of melody. It sounds permanently sounds like the beginning of a very good piece of music. Unfortunately it ends too early ...

Good work!
