That's because the dialog scripts starts, when the current function ends. In your example, the GUI turns off, then on again, and after that the dialog starts.

You could possibly go into the General Settings and set "When interface disabled:" to "GUIs turn off".

I tend to prefer recognition methods of captcha... for example, show an easily-identifiable picture of something, and then have the person type in what it is.

And then a German user comes across this site, sees the cat and types in "Katze". I guess it's too complicated to implement all the common words for this picture in all the relevant languages. Futhermore, the random factor of that idea would be pretty much lower as when random digits and letters have to be typed in.

I say this because I thought the graphics were spectacular! Right up there with some of the best graphics I've ever seen in a freeware game.

Seconded, although the quality of the backgrounds alters. But nevertheless: the bgs are beautiful and well animated, the character portraits are marvellous. Great job!

Well, the positions of her left leg and left arm look a bit ouch; I don't think that's a comfortable or even possible position to sit at all. Other than that it looks okay to me so far.

A small and cool game, well-written, with cool graphics und music. Keep it up!

Since it's a promotion game by and for the LBS, a German bank, it's free more or less.

Yeah, I remember the time, when my dad brought it from a visit to the bank. I somehow like those promotion games. Some of them do even have some cool graphics, like ->this<-.

Hm, of course the eastern states voted for their neighbours, but Serbia received many votes from other countries as well. And I didn't find the Serbian song that bad.

Nevertheless. Congratulations to all the participants.

Until now, I really liked the entry of Ireland, Finland wasn't that bad, either.

When pressing ALT+F4 and after that F4 alone, the game exits without an error message -- probably, because windows make some shit. That happens in every game I have, so that's basically not your problem. I just happened, when I played arount with the controls. But it would certainly be better to have other contol keys than the F-keys.

I like the style of the game. I found it easy to use.

Problems I encountered:
- When you walk up to a wall and then parallel to it, pressing up again won't face him upwards. That's not a real problem, just irritating.
- Sometimes I had the feeling that pressing spacebar on the right spot won't bring me a message. I had to walk around a bit, then it worked.

He looks like he was bending down a bit. I agree on the ears, but other than that, I really like the style.

I don't find it too attractive. I could imagine it to be very irritating when playing a game, but I would love to see the image before you applied the effects (which I guess you did).

Another great topic. I'm sure to enter.

The thing that clashes are the "messy-sytle" of the forest and the rather clean style of the rest. I tried to fix it, but it's an unclean paintover, I guess.
