Speaking of nihilyst ... here I am back again. I think the voting clearly indicates our new winner: Neil Dnuma. Congratulations for your background: it's simple and effective. The other backgrounds were good as well. Perhaps you will win next time ...

Neil is next.

Okay, I'm off now. May some moderator bring this competition to an end. Good luck to all the participants.

Five days to go and no entries? Come on! ^^

Unfortunately I'm off the internet beginning on friday. So it would be cool, if one of the moderators could start voting and bring the Blitz to an end. Thanks in advance! :)

Hi all!

Thanks for voting for me in the last Blitz. And the new topic is ...

Wonderland

This time show us something, that deserves the name "Wonderland". What is your wonderland? Is it an amusement park? Is it a beautiful fantasy world with waterfalls "falling" into the yellow sky? Is it the Land of the Talking Avocados or a nightmarish place with unbelievable torture machines? It's up to you!

Your background
- must provide a wonder (like an upsidedown house, the waterfall falling upwards, a strange plant or something like that)
- shouldn't have more than 30 colours.
- can have any size you can choose in the AGS

If anything is unclear or you have questions ... just ask :)
Voting will start on April 15th.

I entered because the theme provided has many room open for different styles. I guess that's the reason many have entered (and will enter).

Wow!  :o
Now there're two BJ games in the GiP. Looks cool. I really like the e-mail-functions. Will the player be able to send adn receive emails like in "In Memoriam"? That would be a cool feature.

I wish you good luck with the seventh installment ... but don't forget the sixth.

Wow, great thing! Too bad the PS3 is way too expensive for me :( I guess I'll have to wait.

Will scripting on PS3_AGS be the same as on the PC or will it be much more difficult?
#808
InCreator, that's great ^^ Reminds me of the opening theme of John Carpenter's "They live".

As always -- a short one:

I made a quick edit:

@Steve: Since I'm from Germany, certain titles probably sound different to me than to English native speakers. Translated into German, Far Cry doesn't sound too good either ^^
#812
You could name it "Lim-boo!", if it's scary in some way ^^

Good titles:

Command & Conquer - simple and quite self-explanatory
Far Cry

Okay, here is some shit:

This is an experiment with an Secret of Mana 2 style graphics (with colours more or less taken from screens of SoM 2)

This should have been a Monkey Island 2 style bg. It isn't nearly, but it's something.

You've probably seen that on the last BBlitz, and it's basically just another attempt at MI2-style (or something in that direction). Although some forms are rather shit, I quite like it.

My first attempt with my new bullshit tablet. Just some forms and colours, no textures, since that takes most of the time, which I don't want to spend on pics, that will never be seen in any of my games.

Second attempt with tablet. Again, it's just some forms and plain colours.

I'm currently planning on a new game, but -- in fact -- nothing is done, no scripts, no bgs, no nothing. It's just an idea floating in my mind, but it doesn't evolve yet. Perhaps, when I'm back to university and the time of relaxing is over, my creative senses will come back to life ^^

Until then ...

Don't know about the music continuity plugin, but when you enter the club, you could save the position of the song via GetMP3PosMillis into a variable and then jump to this exact position of the original song using SeekMP3PosMillis.

Did you set up walkable areas? And if you have, did you put Squirrel onto it? Because if it isn't on a walkable area, it won't walk.
#816
Wow. I really admire your graphics. I wish you good luck with the further development of this game. ^^
#817
I second He-Man. I really like the idea.

A really short one ...

Thomas and Ben, two kids from Seashore Peak, will soon meet here to fight an ultimate horseshoe throwing battle. Who will win?

2x

Hope that counts as a battlescene ^^
