Hi, I'm back again. Thanks to everybody who played this game despite it's many bugs. I hadn't had the time to make this carpet thing right, since the trap door idea came to my mind long after I made the whole background. Sorry for that and for that renaming-thingy and the other stuff. I had to rush in the end and so I could only beta test the surface of the game. I'm again in progress of working on my RPG, that I'll hopefully announce in a month, but when I have the spare time, I'll beta test TLH again and eradicate all the other annoying bugs.

Just add

character[MELT].Transparency = trans;

to the while construction. That should work (and wasn't that hard to find out, either).

Hm, I've made a custom save/load GUI for my MAGS entry (The Last Harvest), but it's pretty lame. It has only nine save slots, but maybe easy to implement. If you're interested, I could give you my code, so that you can take a look on how I made it. If you want to have a GOOD gui, then you should have skipped this post ^^

It's hard to exit the wizard's house, but it works. Try to click near the status bar in the lower left corner, there are a few pixels, that work. But it could have been a bit bigger ^^

Okay, my game is nearly completed. I'm in betatesting phase, and some sounds are still missing. I hope all the other participants are doing well and can finish their games in time. I'm really curious, what cool games you have created.

Your characters are well detailed. I really like them. But why are the hands in such a strange angle? It looks like the chars were balancing.

Plus, the fire hydrant looks more like a trash can, and he doesn't have a shadow, whereas all the other things have. But I quite like the style. More detail wouldn't hurt, like a postbox, doorhandles, keyholes, I would expect windows even on the ground floor plus a small window for the stairway (which I assume this building has), something in the backyard (a car maybe or other stuff) or a placard on the fence.

Okay, it's over.

ManicMatt: Your entry was really hilarious, and it reminded me of some recordings in my childhood. Your voice-acting was cool, and the effects were, although they were made by voice, very good.

Obi: The Max Payne music, that fits this scenery very well, combined with your Max Payne like voice was really a cool experience. The sound effects were also good, but unfortunately music and effects were not too well mixed, so that I often couldn't hear the voice properly.

Loki: Your choice of music (it was from Silent Hill 2, I think) gave the entry a dramatic touch. Your voice acting was good, and the sound effects were great also; I liked the idea of the helicopters voice being some kind of robotic.

Psch0F0x: You used the sound effects best, and I liked the way you spoke the policeman. I, however, didn't get the showdown or platform feeling I got when hearing the other entries.

Picking out a winner really wasn't easy, since I liked all the four entries. Considering all the good and bad things of each entry, I choose Loki as the winner. So, Loki, go on with the next.

Since all entries were really cool, I encourage people to participate in the voice compo, so that we can have more entries.
