I once bought the album "In Absentia" from Porcupine Tree, because I liked the cover. I hadn't heard anything of them, and now I'm collecting their other albums. They really have a unique style, that I like.

You could get inspired on what to add ->here<-

Although you wanted advices besides color, I'll give you the hint, that this operating room is VERY dark and unfriendly, so it does look like a dungeon now. Unless that is intended, I would make take warmer, brighter colors.

If it's an operating room, then how does someone operate here? On the floor? Doors wouldn't hurt, either.

Is it 3,5mm mono or stereo? I once had a mono one, that didn't work on my computer. A stereo one did.

First of all, I reall like the style.

2. What is this brighter green stuff in the background? It looks like green mountains, and the transition to the darker green is too sharp.
3. The barrel should have some cross-beams (or what those are called).
4. The building does have a dark side, yet it doesn't cast a shadow (but that's not really a problem in my eyes.

This time we have following topic:

The Showdown

It's appreciated, if you could entertain us with a little more than your voices. Try to put in sound effects and ambient sounds as well (these can be either synthesized, recordings you found on the internet, or you can make them yourself, or however else you can make sound effects). For those, who don't know how to do stuff like that, the sound effects are NOT A MUST.

(Two persons, arch-enemies, finally meet on an offshore platform. The wind howls, and it's raining. They point with revolvers to each other, the fingers on the trigger.)

1: Do you want to whisper your last prayer?
2: I wouldn't be so self-confident in my hour of death.
1: If I can see your finger moving towards the trigger, you're dead.

2
(voice-over): There it was: the final moment. My perception was sharpened, my eyes narrowed. I could feel him tremble. It sounded like an earthquake in my mind. I was tired.

(A helicopter arrives.)

3(shouting through a megaphone): This is the police. You're under arrest. Drop your weapons and raise your hands!

(A thunder rolls.)

2(voice-over): I looked in the eyes of my enemy, and I realized he had the same thoughts. We both turned our revolvers on the police's helicopter ... and shot.

(4 gunshots.)
3(screaming): AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!

2
(voice-over): The man stumbled into the helicopter and seemed to hit the pilot. The helicopter trembled in the air, lost altitude, crashed into a pillar of the platform and exploded.

(The helicopter crashes and explodes.)

1: Does that mean we're friends now?
2: Guess so. I always wanted a happy ending.

Everything in brackets should give you a clue on how to speak the line or what effect you could use.

Okay, if the topic is shit, tell me, and I'll come up with a new. I just wanted to see some effects, since they can besides of voices also make a game's atmosphere good.

The competitions will last to the 19th of April. I will choose a winner, then.

If I remember correctly, Grundislav mentioned that question, that he is surprised, nobody has asked, before the fifth installment was released. That means, the question has to refer to something in the first four cases. And I have a feeling that it has something to do with Percival.

Hi, folks!

Here is the new Background Blitz. As the previous one, this one will last ten days (voting will start on the 13th of April). And today's topic is:

The Carnival
[/size]

What I want to see this time is a scene from a carnival. This can be for example a local fair on a hot summer day or a haunted carnival at night. Whatever comes to mind, and as long it shows some kind of carnival, it's okay. The crux of the matter is, that usually carnivals are full of details. Try to make your BG as detailed as possible.

There are no restrictions in size or color.

Again, there will be four voting categories:

Best Idea
Best Functionality
Best Design
Best Technique

Good luck, and have fun!

As far as I can remember, you have to speak to the inspector about the toxicological finding.

I first had a very bad feeling about the gameshow moderator. In my eyes, his appearance had a very mystery kind of touch, and I thought, that it was a trap, in which he wanted to lure Ben. Was that intended? But I loved the gameshow, although I didn't beat it the first time. ^^

Could you provide the line of code you used to change the GUI's background?
