Other ideas for "under the influence":
- a 1960's hippie pad seen during a bad acid trip.
- a drawing style under the influence of a famous artist.
- a seance, under the influence of ghosts
- a bedroom during a fever dream

Update:
One day left, so if anyone needs more time, just write in!

Who is this Gregory Watkins in Admin? Is Emma married?

Hooray! Great job Sir! Now that's the way to start off a Blitz! :)

Food Glorious Food has wrapped up, so why not try...

Under the Influence

What does it look like to be under the influence of something or someone?

Examples:
- love fills a dingy apartment with warm light.
- under hypnosis, the world turns German Expressionst.
- you wake up in a car, drunk, going the wrong way on the freeway. (pictured above, inspired by morguefile.com reference)

Must be AGS compatible.

Voting starts Aug 1.

Be creative, have fun, please post anything you got. Your idea can influence someone else. :)

Shall I start the next Blitz?
I was thinking the next theme could be: Under the Influence

> Do not tell Emma I love her.

If you want to extend the deadline, I don't object. I'd rather see more art.
(cool kebab guys, Misj'!)

Thanks! I just got some tricks, that's all. :)

update: since Frito Master asked - I modeled basic bottle shapes from cylinders in Maya. Stretched them for variation. Added 3 directional lights. Rendered with Mental Ray & raytraced shadows.

In Photoshop, I traced everything with a pencil, using a Wacom tablet. Colored and added detail. Then I downsized and lowered the bit depth in MS Paint because Grundislav said on BlueCupTools podcast that he does that.

Then I touched it up in Photoshop 'cause I didn't do the MS Paint part right. :)

A closeup for a kitchen puzzle involving a recipe. Pick the proper spice. Try to avoid the poison.

I rendered it in Maya first, to get the perspective and shadows and all that. Then painted over it, crunched it down in MS Paint.

I think there are more rooms on this level. Office, Conf 1 and Conf 2.
After our juice break, may I suggest - Enter Office?

MacGyver once improvised a fuse out of a foil wrapper from his chewing gum. Maybe something small & metallic here?

This isn't a priority to investigate, but...is that blood dripping from the A/C vent in the corridor? There are similar marks on Level 1.
Maybe something's stuck inside?

> Say "Emma Watkins, wake up. Say my name if you can hear me."

Fun game! Especially liked the cartoons on the TV.

Hi, all. I'm new to this grand adventure, but may I suggest...

"put finger into throat and induce vomiting"

if we are OD'ing - we have a slowed heartbeat, trouble breathing, and dizzyness - and our eyes have changed color, indicating shrunken pupils?
that may slow absorption of morphine into system. or so says the internets.

Great entry, gameboy. Looking forward to yours, Joshy.
Here's a floating colony for the mega-rich, drifting over the ocean. Outside international law.

Answer their docking questions or they will politely blast you from the sky!

Nice ones, Armageddon, Misj', Matt.

I just tried to keep things fast and use some new brushes. For once I didn't use thick outlines. :)
Maybe with a moving fog layer it would tie things together in a real game...

Idea - Misj'.
Atmosphere - Puzzler. Makes me imagine a "Reilly: Ace of Spies" World War I adventure.
Design - gameboy.
Composition - gameboy.
Functionality - Misj'. I like the way it would function.
Technique - Misj'. I dig that style and the anim.

real glad everyone pitched in, it was fun to see them all.
