My mind is hazy, but getting the stew at the beginning is important.  There is a way to keep the coin w/o having to give it to the beggar but darn if I remember the trick now.

get the stew before, but now I'm stuck on what I can give the beggar so that I can keep the coin. I have given him the stew (maybe I should have held on it, I don't know, but I didn't find any other use for it when I got it before), an apple and the pillow (after taking out a feather). I tried a glass of water, but that didn't do anything. I tried getting another sleeping pill, but I couldn't do that.

I've read through the thread and haven't been able to decode any of the (very subtle) hints.

So what do you have to do to get the gun from the beggar without giving him the coin?

Well, IANAL, but it looks like this game breaches copyright left, right and centre... saying it is fan fiction and freeware and putting copyright notices in it doesn't mean you can use other people's work in your own... that's what copyright is for. Unless of course you are one of the original authors. If you are not, then you're breaking copyright law and Rapidshare's terms and conditions.

Anyway, aside from that, the bug is still not fixed. I looked at Wally, and it said "A pair of matches" (?). I went to pick him/them up and it crashed with the error mentioned above. When are we likely to see a working version?

I have put the burning rags on top of the tower but I can't turn the wheel. I have pressed the back-up pump, called the water guys and got all three newspapers. What do I do now?

How do I open the vent with the crane. I suppose I need to use the chain--I've know how to move the crane--but I can't seem to put it anywhere. Thanks

I have the ladder and have put it down in front of the lever. I have the chain but can't attach it because the hook is too far away. The hook is supposed to be moved from the control room computer, but if I use the computer, all it does is checks on the reactor. Talking to Roland and Irene doesn't help either.

I've done the other two thinks (sorted out the cooling pumps and burnt off the exhaust).

Take the lid off the vacuum cleaner with one of the tools. Use the paint can on the vacuum cleaner to tip the paint into it.

Can anyone help with this, please (see above)?

One tip with this sort of puzzle: make your moves symmetrically. So, for example, when you click one corner, click the other three corners too. This makes it easier to see what to do next and when you are getting close to the answer, and also to undo any mistakes you make.

I'm stuck on the third ending...

Miss and I are standing on the cliff. Walking away gives the first ending; talking to her and then walking away gives the second. But how do you get the third ending?

I have the stew. I haven't used the pearl necklace - I assume it's something to do with that. I can't give it back to her.
