One SERIOUS bug with the interface...

If you load an earlier version of the game and then try to go back to your later version, you can't because all later versions are no longer in the list.

I was near the end, went back somewhere near the beginning and now, even though the save games still exist as files, I can't load any of them later than where I am near the beginning. So I've pretty much got to start all over again.

Grr! Fix this, please.

PS: Ah, no problem - all you need to do is close the game down and open it again, and they are all there. It's still a bug worth fixing, though.

Hm, I'm stuck at the beginning...

I don't seem to be able to go anywhere other than my room, the bar and the area outside the tavern. How do I get anywhere else?

I knocked on the neighbour's door and asked for food but am now just being a bother.

So far, I have the coin, diary, apple, pillow and nail.

Ah, no problem - I found the path round the side of the tavern. Everything is so dark that I couldn't see it at first.

No hints and tips thread on this game yet I see - I don't believe I'm the only person playing it. Maybe everyone else here is under 18

to get the herbal supplement I need a coconut. There is one on the beach where I landed. Perhaps I can knock it down with the pole, which the girl who has it will swap for a magazine. Rachel will trade me something pretty for the magazine.

I'm guessing that "something pretty" refers to the umbrella on the beach, and that I need to swap that for one of the umbrellas over the shop, but I don't know how to reach?

I have the comic book. I've broken the window of the lingerie shop. I've been to the beach and the town.

OK, I've kind of sorted out the orders...

I've worked out which order is for which person, but how do I rearrange them so they go up the right pipes?

Also, is the colour significant? Am I supposed to match the colour of the orders to the colours of the pedestals they are on, or the pedestals of the person whose order they are, or what?

I notice that it looks like you have to match the colours in both the English and Japanese games, meaning you have to select a row and a column.

Now I need some purified water. I've already used that to grow the oats so I could get the horseshoe. There is none left in the bucket, I can't seem to get water from the well, from the purifier, from the sea or from the sink in the house, so how am I supposed to get water?

I can't put the bucket back together as I've already used the wire to make the wheel. This isn't another walking death, I hope...

I have almost everything I need for the unicycle: pizza, wire and horseshoe attached; banana and stick attached; two pieces of rope; petals/pedals.

Looks like I need something else though.

Maybe the little man will give me what I need. He wants something golden - I assume he means the hay, but I can't climb the ladder to get up there and get some.

Not to worry, I've found the barn. I thought the path only went round to the right. I didn't realise that was a T-junction there.

Ah, now I'm sure I would have investigated these if I'd been there. Where are they, please?

I have the components of the unicycle (banana, pizza, stick) but can't work out how to put them together... the stick is too thick and I don't have any way of attaching the stick to the banana.

I played this game several months ago and loved it. I meant to mention this small bug at the time:

the turbine turns the wrong way once the water starts flowing. The water flows right to left and so the turbine should turn clockwise, but it turns anti-clockwise instead.

It's not a big deal but would be straightforward to fix: just reverse the order of the frames in the animation.

Excellent game - I hope we see more like this from Pijin.

It doesn't seem right to me though. I know the memory card has to go in there somehow, because there's nowhere else it could reasonably go, so I should just be allowed to put it in (and get the same "I need a memory card reader" message) without having to look at it first.
