A random lock? Now, that's just not fair on the player. Some of us have better things to do than try 128 combinations.
Let us know when you've fixed it, please. Perhaps you could:
make the clicks different for the right tumblers (although this would make it far too easy).
Another idea: hide a key somewhere that is broken so you can't put it in the lock, but that you can examine to see the pattern required.
