Apart from the credits plugin which has a typewriting option, how can I dislay typewriter effect??  (writing text on PC for example).

It is supposed to be in theÃ,  middle of nowhere, character walks out of jungle after a rain (it is dark) but clear enough for stars to exist, there is no interaction, only scrolling words, so I won't put objects or hotspots etc..It is too empty though, and I cant find what else to put in a night sky!
I though of adding the tops of trees etc at the bottom but it didnt really work...

Does this look like tree outlines?? :-\Ã,  Ã,  Ã, Another thought: if character is in the jungle, I think the view of the sky can't be taht clear? I mean, should I show that it's a clearing, a river or something ?

I use credits plugin inside the game, to give some info , not for ending the game, but I can't change room after the scrolling ends. Nothing works after scrolling , I put player.ChangeRoom etc and I even tried to put an object after scrolling but the object or whatever I tried is on from the beginning and palyer changes room immediately after they enter the screen. I find info for static credits but didn't find any for scrolling ones.

I'm talking about allusions to books, films, etc...like using a line from a film, slightly altered so that the player recognises it but it's not exactly the same.Like in Discworld Noir. I've seen most of the films and I recognised the scenes and linesÃ,  but they weren't exactly the same. Is it still under copyright laws?

Hi,

When I combine inventory items or use them and want to lose them, they don't always disappear, sometimes they remain in the inventory. I don't have the "don't automativcally lose inventory " checked. I mainly use the ready-made interactions in ags , as I'm useless in scripting. When I say "If player does this, remove item from inventory" and then test the  game , it won't always obey. I tried "before action" "after action" etc... Any help with the least scripting possible??  :(

Hi
I found functions for  when the player choses to save the game or for when the game ends and it's reset or restarted, but I can't find an option for automatically save game before the players make a crucial move, like turning something off for ever.

I'm still trying styles, but I think sprite will  look like this (laziest n00b ever!!!) . Problem is , I can;t think of an appropriate head. Everything is either big or irrelevant. Thanks

Hi there!


This is  my Long Expected Friday (LEF) game.
Jane comes back home after a week from hell at work and wishes she could stay on that couch for a week. Ever heard of those jokes with the deaf genie?Ã,  That's what she had. Worst part: Jess and Jack were invited for the weekend and they are stuck there with her.

Hi there

Any ideas about these? I admit they were made quickly because Iwas trying to fit in the story at the same time.

Do you think I should save a blank room with a label ,add hotspots and stuff and then add the normal room?
