You seem to have a shortcut for any program on your computer Ã,  :o Ã, Am I the only one who doesn't have shortcuts etc on my desktop?? The only icons are: Bin, My Comp, My Doc and IE as hidden in the corners as possible...

You try drinking a bottle of ouzo by yourself and see how you take it ;D

A) I still can't believe that 15 mitteneers only need 1 bottle! :P
B) I hate ouzo ;D

This time i can see everything perfect butttt few part of my characters like Eyes and teeths colours are invisible .....

This happens to me with transparent gif and I simply replace the missing colour with the nearest visible one in my image.

It is a girl's room, Haddas. Even if it is a teenager-girl's room.

Is it?!
Where are the lipsticks? The hairstyling products? The second telephone line? The five perfumes? The girly curtains? The soft carpet where she lies and reads about hot actors? The colourful pencils and other funny-looking writting stuff? The computer with the bubbly screensaver? The millions of shoes and tops? (OK, they may be in the wardrobe...)

You do need a teddy bear, include it even if you have to edit and paste a photo.

Game industry is not in my plans, I have no computer or art related education. AGS is just a creative pastime, along with other things. It is one of the 10-15 ways to channel the energy, creativity and resources I can't use at work. It feels good. It is also a good exercise: " Can I keep promises to myself?". It may not last long, as my hobbies turn to different directions every 10 daysÃ,  ::) , and it has never replaced other things but it's better than T V. The time I give to AGS is the time I 'd spent watching BB, if I had a T V set...

Both the forums and the game-making are a good company when it is too hot/cold to be outside, when everybody is on holidays and I'm stuck here, when I 'm too tired to work or read, when people near me have a deadline or something and can't talk to me...Why ranting endlessly, boring them to death or having a good, unwanted fight? I code a puzzle instead (well, I ask for help in coding a puzzle more likelyÃ,  :-[ )

Everybody needs money, nobody lives on fresh air. But it feels good when you can do things which are not consideredÃ,  a "job". I may go fishing one of these days...Do you think I should make sure I'll sell the fish?Ã,  Ã, I think I will give them to friends and family (if I catch more than a pebble)...This is bad for my pocket but good for my mental balance.

I will try that with big "groups" of links... Any ideas about preserving them for a long time? I mean not losing tehm everytime I have computer trouble?

You should make lists to CD cases, so you don't have to switch CDs in and out desperately.

I mean I have the documents I'm working on on the CD, and the links on another CD.

Problem I:
I use someting like 78,976,441,586,941 :PÃ,  links regularly, I have bookmarked them, but I can't find an easy way to manage them. I even save them in wordpad and print them!
Problem II:
My computer crashes more often than the sun shines in the desert. There are links that I use only every three months, but are absolutely necessary. I save them in CDs, but it is a pain when I work on a document I have on CD and have to switchÃ,  etc.
(I also lose my CDs, floppies, and post-its all the time, since my house looks like having a kindergarden childrens' party :-[ :-[ )

Result: I lose very important (job-study) links or I start searching all over again because thay are so many I get lost.

Any ideas? Any suggestions? I'm desperate here...

Speaking of broken links...is anybody else having trouble with MicroTech? All related files and images here and on my site are gone...

Breakfast for working people:

1. Get up early enough hoping that you'll have time to buy some toast and coffee.
2. Arriving at 8 sharp anyway, forget about the eye opener, go straight to your desk.
3. StartÃ,  doing the job of three people.
4. Around 13:00 , pretend that you go to the loo, stop at the canteen, try to buy whatever is available at that time.
5. After you've been spotted, go back to desk and do the tasks added.
6. Around 14:30 ,take the longest way to the canteen. Hide in corners to avoid boss, managers, collegues, clients.
7. After you've been spotted, go back to desk and do the tasks added.
8. Finish work at 16:00, buy something nice smelling right outside your office, don't even bother to chew it .....

yes, very bad day, I'll modify this into a proper recipe later...

Once upon a time kids were brought up on books, relationships & outdoor adventure. Nowadays it's tv, hiding behind a screen & shoot 'em ups*. Go figure :(

If both apply, does the person need assistance or holidays??

I only used the Ags homepage when I first heard about the program. I use the forums now, and I check the users' profiles for details. I can find all the information I need in the forums and I can see game details, screenshots and hints... in the forums!
Personally I wouldn't like a blog from CJ if it took time from programming a new version  ;) . To be honest, the bloggs I enjoy are extremely few .
As for broken links, I agree it is annoying, but I would contact the sites owner...Well, members that haven't been active for a very very long time are bound to have abandonned the AGS idea overall anyway...
Abour irc: I don't use it, in general. It caused my AV to go mad and I never went back.

I'll go for graphics, because I think the gameplay should be nice in these games anyway.
In professional games, I expect graphics to be nice, since the companies have a million software choices for this nowadays.
Of course I like a nice gameplay, as well, but graphics is what you see on the box before you buy. Graphics make me say " I want to be in there" and hope that it will be worth it puzzle wise. If not, I get some nice screensavers and background for my desktop...! ;)
I try a demo because of the graphics, I buy/download a game because of the gameplay, unless of course the graphics are so awesome that I want to play anyway.

I'm not sure if I 've ever seen a game with splendid graphics which doesn't have a decent, if not good, gameplay..

Ok, this game isnt that good, and it's not very long either, but it was more of a learning project for me. Even so, please try it out and tell we what you think. There were a few bug wich I couldn'r figure out how to fix, so I apologise fore those.

Spoiler
Although I'd like Snape to be good, I wouldn't feel betrayed or something if he turned out to be evil. What I like is his character, the way he reacts and the way he makes his own way through the book.Ã,  A Voldemort follower or a Dumbledore one, it is of little importance to me as long as he keeps being the capable, cunning, intelligent, manipulating agent of whoever Rowling has in mind.
