Wait... Does that mean that saying that bringing kids to meetings can be a bad idea is wanting to freeze the time?

Wow...

I think I mentionned "many different gatherings with different characteristics" in the future as people grow up, which means they are still  a part of the community but they also live their lives and althought the traditionnal "once a year mittens somewhere and who can make it makes it and has fun and CJ is always there" is a good and original thing that anyone would enjoy, it might have to change a little.

I wouldn't want a toddler or a six year old devil child when I'm on this kind of holidays, but this doesn't mean those people should be completely left out. As someone said, they could live nearby and spend some time with the group. Or have a separate meeting. Or sell the children to get discounts. Whatever...  :P

The idea is that you meet people through AGS but if for some reason they change hobbies later in life (although I can't see why would anyone want to change sprites for nappies :P  ), you still talk to them or visit them or want to meet them anyway.

If I had come to Spain, I'd probably want to do some sightseeing (I love historical sites and folklore) and spend much time with the group but not  the entire time. Is that equivalent to death sentence or do I get away by finishing five difficult games without walkthrough??  :P

I never thought AGS was a closed club. If it is, I'm at the wrong placeÃ,  :-\Ã,  Ã, People should make the most of those traditional mittens for as long as they last, because it seems inevitable that in the future there are going to be many small gatherings worldwide due to the international character of this community and some of them will have specific characteristics. There's no reason to make a fuss about it. You can work harder on CJ-cloning if you like :P but that's that.

What I read in all these post-mittens-family-or-wherever-it's-next mittens threads, is just that the AGS "kids" have grown up, that the AGS community has grown and that some of the "original uniform AGS group charm" is lost, but this is not a bad thing, if you ask me. It only shows that AGSers can walk and talk at the same time. I mean they have separate, evolving lives, which is good, which is creative.

Would you rather see AGS community trapped in those "time bubbles", a frozen moment of past glories just before the Pluto's revenge comes upon us, :P (which will never come of course, because that's what time bubbles are for?   :P )

If not... Why not: Pixel, Sprite, Background, Game, and Complete Game... or something like that?

That's a relevant idea, indeed.

The pen gives me "click" sounds but no clues for a door, the only stone door I know of is the one at the corridors I 've already opened with the bracelet.

Microsoft releases software for xbox amateur games.
Good side: more people will get interested in amateur games. Bad side: it was supposed to be "amateur" games...

I know paid software existed before (eg Thegamecreators) but it didn't have the amateurs as its target group.

2. would have appreciated undertitles as well, as I'm not an English native speaker.

Seconded.
Apart from that, nice job.

I 'd define cruelty to animals as "torturing them for no good reason". This includes abandonning your pets when you leave for holidays, overexlpoiting animals for dairy products you are not going to sell because of the market rules, overfishing, overhunting etc etc.
As you can see, I only dislike the exaggeration. Why fish 5 tons for a small village market? Why transport huge amounts of meat in the capital, when everybody does the same and you end up with unsold rotten mountains of stinky stuff? And then you go on a strike and close the streets for other workers... :P
About experiments. I don't like it. I don't like people using animals in cases they can avoid it. But as far as I know, they can and they will test the chemics on something alive, so I prefer them to do it on animals instead of third world's (or even developped world's) children.

Plan ASAP what you are going to spend and where, apply everywhere for a new job, don't change location if you are going to be short of money, do some other, less well paid job in the mean time, apply, apply, apply, call everyone you know and ask them to have their ears open, remind people of old favours, tell your previous employer that you want references, profit from this extra time and spend it with your family, consider a change in career if there's something you can do for money, keep applying and sending CVs.

What I mean is that I can't understand why people have to declare they are leaving when they can just stop posting in a board.
May be it was nothing but my way of reading the post and the replies.
Forget it.
