There's some bugs with the mini-game, though it is beatable, it's not required to complete SQ2 (and there are no points given for doing so).

I'm in the asteroid, found a 2nd keycard and got into the room with the hammock, got toilet paper. Don't know where to go, or where to get the keycode for the door on level 5.

Since the passcode is all fruit and you're surrounded by monkeys, take a good guess (it's also apparently written down somewhere in the room with the hammock, but I never found it)

I don't find the right path in the cave labyrinth, but I swear I've exhausted all possible paths. I noticed that at the bottom there seems to be another way to the left, but when I click, Roger refuses to go there, dammit!

If you've gotten to the plant alive then you have at least one of the things you need to defeat it. You'll need something more appetizing to bait it.

Try hiding from the security guy.  It may not make much sense, but if you can't see Roger, neither can the apeman.  You're not supposed to go by the way of the mushrooms in this version.

This is probably the longest Space Quest game ever released - official games included.  VSB is the product of about a decade of work from many team members.  A voice pack is being planned for future release.
