hi

i bought a gba/nds supercard flash card. It allows you to play divx, mp3, several  consoles games. i discovered that an emulator (scummvm) would allow you to play lucasarts point n click games(and others) on the nintendo ds with great quality thru this device.

Anyone heard of this?

No my question is, do you think an ags emu could appear for the nintendo ds?

I didn't love the "no response, no matter where I click"-part.

i know it's a shame but i will work on interactions when all the graphical part is done otherwise i don't know what stage i am at, since i'm not so well organized.
it's a work in progress not a real demo for the moment, you can just navigate thru backgrounds, sorry for that.
i used to have an old demo with less backgrounds but everything clickable in it but i don't know where it is.

I don' t remember very well your work, but I think it was not bad... about the compulsive posting and the humour, well, as said (and maybe it' s just a personal feeling) you should be a bit more patient, people must get used to you before LOVING you, you know? But have in mind that if I give you this advises is because I feel potential. It' s not that I am sending you to the trash bag, with some others teenagers who claim to be 21... petaglair: No making games is not childish. I and others work and get paid to put into making games. I'm 29, others are older. It's not childish. simple things

Thinking that making game is not childish is not a good excuse to lack of humour.
And yes i like the idea that making games even for money is childish. That's why i put i'm 4 yo in my profile...is that so bad?
i'm 25 yo and i am making a game among other things to earn money, no need to teach me things, even simple things.

I don't blame them coz I said leave your comments, but they said my game was 'un heard of' etc. because I used images i drew on paint to make it.

Sometimes people do forget that making videogames IS childish in the first place and claim to be serious posters on the forums wich is a bit paradoxal.
Don't be confused by them they are not bad persons after all.

I starded again the dev of my adv game "la porte noire"
I posted a "working" link to my new demo (it's more of a work in progress in debug mode: almost no interactions). this demo as been updated with ags 2.72 and added 3 new backgrounds.
so you can go around the house and on the roof top using the rain pipe go outside the house then use "ctrl" + "x" to check other bg from 0 to 23 (14 to 22 are similar though) , 13 to 23 are new ones. You can report bugs but it's not a big issue since i'm only working on the garphics for now, will script afterwards.

other things you can do in the demo: once inside the house you can freely visit the inside and go out ;
in front of the videogame store you can use the door to enter and go out;
you can pick up items in some rooms but not all, for the moment;
GUI's up right...

enjoy and give me feedbacks

brief description:

this game is about some tristan trying to enter some kind of party where he seems not having been invited, but there is a mistery about this party which is revealed at the end of the game...

about the ambiance it's inspired by lucas arts games like sam'n' max or dott.

Among other things you will have to fights dragons, play video games ,do body building, kill people, fool a cyborg, solve riddles...when the game is finished hopefully.
