I did get this when i click new game and when i click  then on the screen the game start with no intro

I did have problems with the Iccvid.dll. i have put the dll in the windows/system32 folder and it works now.  its has nothing to do with the game it was my computer

Thank you very much for answering, but I am afraid I was not very clear. I am stuck in the room with the levers and the "elevators". The third room is the one you give the solution for (I managed to solve that). I am sure many others will find your post extremely helpful!
Anyway, I have been trying for many hours to get the blue gem from the room with the levers+elevators, but I can't. As you say, there must be a method or a pattern, which I can't figure out. Either I am stupid or unlucky, but I am just stuck. It gets VERY frustrating. I am very close to giving up the game.I f anyone remembers, please post a hint.

well I guess I'm about ready to give up on this game  thank you jane for trying to help me. I have walked to the right at the pool and still nothing maybe Im missing somthing I should have first. I have shovel,coal,and cutting tool. have talked to everyone.did I miss somthing..my pool is empty lol. HELP!!!!!

Did you saw/click on the barrel in the cellar to see the diesel oil !
maybe you must know its there and then the bottle show up ?

Here's how I did it

take your coal and dip it in the green lake like you did with the black diamond. Now you have pseudo-kryptonite. When I fought the architect I used the hand/use icon on a source then quickly moved to do the same with another and another. I think I started on the left and went around clockwise. I may have started at the top and went clockwise, one or the other. Then when Superman comes show him your fake kryptonite.

Oh then we have to go back to a save game, because i can't go out the room .

And to beat the architect all 4 source must to be highlighted

You knock the trunk down, then put the small bone with it and the large one. Then you pick up the diamond and just keep on clicking to the right, away from the dinosaur and past the trap you set up. The dino will fall.

Phewww managed to play on past bug, anyone else trying to do programmers room?  I have the red stone, and am trying to fathom out the other puzzles..........keep getting eaten by monster - is there a way to move quicker?
