Thanks

BTW: Very smart idea using the ags blue cup logo on the back (why didn't I think of that?).

Hey Mods,
Kinda hard to see it but that looks pretty good.
Are the characters on the front illustratons or photos?

Critics' Lounge / Jewel Cases for AGS games

I know this topic probably has been covered before but I was wondering if any ags designers ever made jewel case covers for their games?  I bet some of you have. Really interested to see what some people have come up with. Recently I made one for my game to hand out to my friends.
Here it is:

Dude, this sounds sooooo cool.
Yeah sci-fi pirates, that sounds like a interesting idea.
It totally would work for intro/theme music.
Some one better do it or else I will.

Pleurghburg was my first.
That gave me more than enough inspiration to start making my own ags game.

Hey Strazer,
Thanks for reminding me to update that file as well,
It totally slipped my mind. Yes the exe file is the installer. Good idea btw about renaming the files. I decided to just go ahead and leave the main razors.exe the same name (even though it is version 2.0) because I have already posted the link all over the place and I would hate for peole to get an older or broken link (I did rename the winrar file though).  So I just updated that file to the second version 2.0. If you already previously downloaded it before just download it again and re-install it again and you will have the newer version. Hope you enjoy the game  ;)

Version 2.0 is now released. Recently I received some emails regarding bugs found in the game. I have fixed them and released a second version.

Here is what I fixed:

-Fixed game crashing due to having too many overlays in the first room.

-Fixed game crashing problem right after talking to the watch dealer.

-Fixed more silly typos I made.

-Fixed the problem in the church room where Knox walks directly over walk behinds to pick up the badge. You now have to be close to the object in order to get it.

-Removed the problem where an ATM card is added to your inventory every time you leave the ATM screen.

If you currently already have version 1.0 installed just download the game again from the same links and re-install this one.
You can download it right here or from the website:

http://razorsinthenight.4t.com/razors.exe

Or at it's mirrored URL:

http://blackmagic.8k.com/razors2.0.exe

Please let me know if anybody finds any more problems with the game.

Hey Increator,
Thanks for letting me know about those nasty bugs. I will have to fix them right away. I'm going to release a second version soon because other people have noticed a couple more bugs also. This definitely helps me out. Really appreciate your support and very glad you liked my first game :)

ps:
If you get a chance give it a vote on the ags site. I recently posted the game there. Would love to hear people's overall  feedback.

Hey Darth,
I think it looks pretty good. I like your useless info/tip of the day feature. Very nice addition. Will look even better when there is content on it. You should try pasting a bunch of content in the main page and see how it looks then.

Hey Sinister,
You could use movecharacter but that would pause the script everytime the npc character moves. If I was you I would consider using the AGS character control plugin. You can get it off the AGS site and it rules. This will allow the npc's to move in the background with out stopping the game. I think this would help you out.

Hey tvcooper,
Some other people said the same thing about not being able to find the walkthrough. It's actually located in the cheats/hints section of the website.

Here is the direct link to the walkthrough section:

Hey Minimi,
I actually stole that from Wayne's World. You're right though they do use that in Jay and Slient bob also. I hope you enjoy the game and thanks again for the help you've given me in the past. Look forward to hearing what you think about it.

Hey guys,
Thanks for posting. I really appreciate your kind words. I'm just stoked to hear that people are playing it. It makes all the hard work I put into this worth it :)  Modgeulator's sound work was a huge contribution to it I think. Very lucky to have him help me out.  Just had a complete blast making this and am looking forward to starting another project.

Candle, thanks for letting me know about that error. I will check it out and see what the problem is.

Thanks

Hey AGS Moderators,
I hope I'm posting this in the right place, I figured it was AGS beginner related. I recently finished a AGS game and wanted to post it up in the games section of the AGS website. The problem is I forgot to give it a password before posting it. Now I need to edit what I posted. How can I obtain acess to edit what I already posted about my game? Is there some one else I should email about this?
Thanks

Do you remember when, which room and how that occured in so I can go back in and fix it?

Hey Everyone!
I just added another link for those who don't have winRAR installed on their computer.

Get the direct install program here:

www.razorsinthenight.4t.com/razors.exe

Or you can get winRAR here:

It's a great program beats winzip anyday.

Once upon a time...
In a ghetto far far away...
Welcome to Brookside County! Brookside is a thriving overpopulated community consisting of drunks, junkies, pimps, gangs, and whores. Oh yeah! Did I forget to mention? Brookside County has a very busy police department. The police of Brookside County don't have a lot of patience when it comes to keeping the youth in line. This spells "trouble" for a neighborhood gang of punks who are just a bunch of bored teenagers. On a ordinary saturday night Knox and his friends may have crossed the line a little too far. Okay! Maybe they REALLY crossed the line! Will Knox get busted? Will he get away? Maybe, he will go postal instead on the local police department? Find out what happens to Knox and his friends in this AGS adventure Razors In the Night!

-Old school EGA style graphics.
-Original plot and story.
-Over 30 different interesting characters.
-Customized interface.
-Easy and difficult puzzles to solve.
-Interactive soundtrack by "Modgeulator."
