I like the character a lot, the lighting adds quite a bit to it so you don't notice how simple it is.  Really cool.  Like the hat, too. ;)

Looks good, no real suggestions, though you may want to add more detail to the armour... maybe add some more pieces to it as well (arms,etc.).  He has a lot of character, I like it.

I really like the style, you must have a lot of patience. :)  I like the characters as well, and think shading would be a good idea, as there's little or no contrast at the moment.  Good stuff.

I really like these a lot.  The character and the animations are great and show a lot of character, even talking which is very simple.  The down walking animation doesn't seem quite right though, almost as if he's dancing.

As for the dress, i'd suggest the first, and I think the hair looks fine now, though it may look different on the backgrounds.

Look forward to seeing more...

Great stuff, especially the down walkcycle, I can see why you're happy with it.  The side, and the character itself, are very nice as well.  Something does seem off with the legs on the up walkcycle, can't really tell at the moment because of the speed.

I'm sure everyone will really appreciate these.  Nice work.

The new dragon colour looks excellent, and I like the new outfit a lot more.  I really like your style, your characters have always been some of my favorite.  Keep up the great work.

Your best sprite so far... can't see anything worth changing, though the gun looks like a cigar/cigarette, which would be cooler, IMO. ;)  Very nice.

Thanks for the comments & suggestions.

I added an update... still need to add some frames, and give the head more movement.  I'm actually half-done another portrait, so i'm splitting time between both.

ScottDoom : Thanks for the offer, the link scotch gave helped out quite a bit, though.

scotch : Thanks for the link, really helped.

Evil : Thanks for the suggestion, think it looks better like that.

InCreator : Not sure about the ear, i'll see about fixing it.

I had a chance to check this out last night, and thought it was really great.  Only thing I thought was off is the animation of the wings... not sure what it is... too slow maybe?  Really good characters/animation, and I like the colours and layout of the interface.  Excellent stuff. :)

I drew this character portrait, and started animating the talking animation, but I realized when I played it back thatÃ,  I don't know what i'm doing, really.Ã,  Anyone know where I can get photos/animations of mouths talking?

Edit: worked on it some more...

*Image removed

Other than the mouth, is the animation/character alright?Ã,  Any C&C welcome, please. Thx.

Not sure how it tiles, but I like the details in #3, just looks more realistic for some reason.

I've been posting here about a month but haven't introduced myself...  I'm 23, from Nova Scotia, Canada.  I still remember playing Zork for hours when I was 5 or 6, and my interest in adventures went up from there.  I've played/owned pretty much every original sierra adventure game... I think SQ3, PQ1/2 and KQ4 would have to be my favorites.  I've always been interested in making games, and have done a lot of modelling/texturing/levels for games like HL and JK, but now i'm really interested in 2D stuff and pixelart, so that's why i'm here.  I'm looking forward to making a game with AGS...

Welcome to everyone else... :)

No changes needed, great job on the edit.

Much better, nice work.

Nice work guys.

Think i'm gonna redo mine... colours look really dull.Ã,  :-\

* New one... changed it a bit.

Looks good, though the outline around the skull takes focus away from its surroundings, even the van which looks like it would be the main focus. It needs to blend in with the wall somehow, same with the poster.

Looks cool... only major problem I can see is the graffiti looks like it's floating.
#59
Looks good... looks a little skinny (maybe remove the space), and I agree with Damien about the right arm, though it looks like his headdress is covering it at a second glance.  Nice details, I think it will fit in with your other characters nicely.

Edit :Ã,  I've been working on my walkcycles... not sure if this is very good, I think it turned out alright.Ã,  I'd like some feedback on improving if anyone has any suggestions.Ã,  It looks like an improvement over my last...

C&C Welcome.

4Dsheep - Thanks for the feedback on my last character... think it helped me out quite a bit.
