Excellent stuff, man.  I'm really looking forward to this game.

No real crits, except the ones you've mentioned.  The neon and lights are really good, especially the glow, but the writing's a bit difficult to read, mostly just the 're'.  The ground looks a little bare also... maybe some small stones on the right side, or a stone path going into the trees would help?  The horizon looks a little bare as well... it sounds like you may add something, though.

Left as it is, it's still the best artwork i've seen on here.

New character...

Didn't turn out as well as the stormtrooper, but it should improve I hope.

Looks cool, reminds me of SQ2... only see a few things to comment on...

- perspective on the ceiling needs some work
- silhouettes in the front could use some more variation
- maybe add some panels to the floor and walls
- dot 'texture' on walls sort of hurts my eyes

Looks good overall, wouldn't mind seeing the original size.

Relight - Yeah, the background bothers me a bit too, but I like it too much to change it at the moment. ;)  Hopefully it will look better when i'm done the BG.  Thx for the C&C...

Really nice BGs, only suggestion would be to lighten up the sewer, since you can't see all the nice details, and fade from light to dark in the spotlight and the window.

I really like this walkcycle... no comments other than what was already said, really.  Nice work.

Thanks for the comments.

stuh505 - I noticed the same problem with the logo, I shrunk the top a bit so it would look slanted, but it's not really noticeable... i'll have to work on it some more.

I did a little animation... working on a background and some other characters now.

Thanks for the comments.

Damien - Yeah, I was worried about the similarities to Yoda Stories after I made them, but I think they're quite different.

Darth - I like the sprites, I remember your SW game work from before, and I really liked your other work as well.

I'm tempted to make a SW game... I've been playing a lot of Knights of the Old Republic lately, and it's got me in the SW mood again.  Think i'll just play with the stlye for now, if I say i'll make a game i'll probably never finish it. ;)

Haven't had much time to draw lately, so I thought i'd try something different since I had some free hours today...

I don't have much experience with this style of pixelart, so if anyone has any suggestions for improvement, please let me know.

C&C appreciated.

Thanks for the continued feedback...  I'm finding it hard to find time at the moment, so no updates.

TheSaint - I'd appreciate any criticism, whatever's easier. :)

lol, looks excellent.  Can't think of any changes... maybe a few more wrinkles in a faded colour.  Nice work.  :)

I really like your drawing style, looks like this will be a really good BG.  I agree with Evil about the contrast and the roots.  I think there could be less leaves, though.  With the angle the tree is leaning, I think you could do without the top left group of leaves.  I also think that the leaves could blend in better with the trunk by having them curve into it.
I'm looking forward to seeing the final product.

I thought it looked good to begin with, but it looks so much better now.  Only suggestion, the angle of the bug's right wing looks a bit off to me.  Very nice work.  :)

Thanks for the continued feedback, think I might change a few more things when I finish the BG i'm working on.

Made quite a few changes.

- Changed leg position, as suggested by quite a few.
- Modified the nose slightly.
- Altered the face/right hand, similar to Igor's edit.
- Fixed fist.
- Changed arm angle.

I'm really happy with how it turned out, though i'd still appreciate C&C.  I'm going to finish my first BG, then i'll get started on animating (ug!).

The new side view is excellent, shows huge improvement.

Thanks for the comments/feedback everyone, looks like I have fewer things to fix than on my last sprite.

Damien/InCreator/Zor©/Dan - Thanks for the C&C, I've been working on your suggestions and it looks much better.

Igor - Thanks for the edits, i'm a big fan of your work and really appreciate it.  I like the second edit, looks similar to how I had her earlier... mine was a bit off though.

I'm working on my first background now, but once that's finished i'll be doing idle animations for them.

Thanks again.

I'm pretty happy with how my Roger sprite turned out, so I redid Bea in the same style.  I can't seem to get the face right, so i'd appreciate any feedback, c&c...  I notice that the right leg is a bit off as well, so i'll probably do a little more work on her.

C&C welcome...  I put my photo reference in the image.

Thanks for the comments.

LostTraveler: I have quite a few ideas and plot points at the moment... nothing but spoilers now, though.

Hollister Man: Not sure about shadows at this point, but i'd like something similar to my original work, if it's not too much trouble.

FYI, thanks for the comments but i'm going to redo Bea from scratch, and in the new style. I haven't really done any work on her at all... wanted to finish Roger first.

I love it... the expressions show a lot of character, even at such a small size.  I've always liked this character, looking forward to seeing more.  Can't see much of anything to crit...
