I haven't tried PNG format of same image yet but i've tried compressed and uncompressed TGA. Compressed TGA images isn't supported by AGS. They're imported spoiled when compressed but still can be imported. So my problem is other than compression because i can't even import my TGA image. I have the error i mentioned Before importing. I can live with that but i wanted to share this problem with you in case you may have the same problem in the future.

Congratulations Canarado. As far as i know, Heartland Deluxe demo was also published in Czech Level. That means your game is as good as it is.  I also want to thank Czech Level for supporting AGS games.

I haven't tried PNG. I will try it and see result. Details of error is :

   fovmester, i haven't used Graphics Gale, i even don't know what it is :) I both tried Photoshop 9 and Art Gem to save my file TGA.  May be problem is because of TGA. I will try to convert it PNG and tell you the result.

   I don't know if any of you had this error . I'm sorry if this issue have been discussed before.

    I tried to import a targa image to my game and AGS suddenly crashed with an error. I noted down error but i forgot it at home. It was like that:
    0x0000000  0x0000000  SIP:27  (I'm not sure of 27, it could be 17, too)
   
   I guess AGS couldn't solve its color range because it was very colorful sprite. I mean it was a 3d image with true shading and shadow. I tried to import another pre-rendered 3d image like first one and i got same error. Then, i saved my targa image as bitmap and tried to import again and i didn't get any error. However, i lost alpha channel this time.

   Is this error related with 2.72 ? I haven't got an error like that before 2.72. I haven't tried pre-rendered 3d image before 2.72 though :)

  Yeah very expensive :) I hope you can make some money from this game and upgrade your Cinema 4d to  latest version :)  By the way, my demo (Would you be my Lover ?) was published in Level Turkey and Electronic Gaming Monthly Turkey. Just like you :) Little advertisement :) You can also make your own in my topic :P

I understand. I don't know Cinema 4d's working order, in 3d Studio Max, you can simulate photon bounces with mental ray global illumination. So, you don't need to put small lights around the room. May be Cinema 4d has also plugin like that

Yeah. I pressed "yes" to use alpha channel. I will show it with an example image so i can tell my problem

Congratulations LimpingFish.It's ver nice. I have couple of questions ?

- Did you use 3d Studio Max for background graphics ? If not, which 3d program did you use ? If you used 3d max, is it possible you used V ray for rendering ?
- Which light did you use in rooms ? I guess it's sun light but i'm not sure.

  Congratulations again. I like the game.

PS: I looked carefully, it's not sunlight sorry :) But it's photometric light for sure

  Yeah, when they are scaled, they actually work with transparent area but non transparent. What i mean is, even spite is at original size (%100), it seems like it is premultiplied with alpha channel. I save my targa files in Photoshop "Do not premultiply alpha channel". In game, i saw little premultiplied color around character.It's ok but it's annoying.

  Anyway, if you say it's known issue and if you are going to fix scale problem, original size problem is going to be fixed automatically i think.

This great news CJ. Congratulations. I have couple of questions:

- With dev kits, Are we going to be able to test our games without any problem in Windows XP SP3 and Wista ?

- Can AGS fans continue to develop AGS 2.72 ? I don't want AGS PC version to die :(

- This is not 1st April joke right ?  :)

I'm making a game with alpha blended sprites and i noticed sprites(especially characters) in the game are not the same as their original forms. They're like some kind of noisy blur filtered and doesn't represent the original file. Not-antialiased sprites aren't changed with scaling.They're still pure but alpha blended sprites not.

  I willl explain this with pictures of in game and original forms. I hope this will be fixed in later versions.

  I'm sorry, i forgot to modify first message. It will be released on May. I remind you that Neo is the one of the Matrix. I did my best to draw it same like Neo.I hope you'll like it. I have gif animations of Neo and Ali but i couldn't upload them because of some CD problem (I'm in internet cafe).

   Yes i will need beta testing and also grammar fixing. I also desire to make multiple languages like French, Italian, Spanish.German. I will post this to Adventure Related Talk forum so anyone interested can meet me there, soon. Thanks

I want to cry :( The game is about to be published and i don't want to challenge this  beautiful game on AGS 2007 awards. Unfortunately, i will challenge  and Forgotten Element is going to take all of the awards. On the other hand, i am very happy because i will play this game soon :) Congratulations sincerely.
