i didn't like the graphics of the game at all so i am re-making them.Now i am making pre-rendered 3d backgrounds instead of old ones. You can see new screens on first message of this topic. Please look at them and tell me your opinions. Which one is better? 3d or 2d ?

Thanks.Ã,  You also need to explain the "dance" thing in more detail, I couldn't understand it at all.Ã,  My offer about the 'billfold manager' stands.Ã,  Also, I might be willing to do the translation depending on how much there is.

i thought players could understand 'dance' section. Player must use key combinations showed on screen to make some dance figures. For example; left,left,A is a combination for a figure.

i hope i finish full version soon and ask for your help for perfect grammar.

i understand :) As a consequence, you like it thanks :)

It's a good concept, and a game I greatly look forward to playing more of.Ã,  Just some comments:

1-Since this is a real-time game, you need to have an in-game clock and a way to "skip forward" to the next event when applicable.Ã,  This will greatly enhance the replay value, which clearly matters when there are 20 different endings!

2-There needs to be more background about the show, the meaning of the computer, how the voting works, etc.

3-This game was clearly not created by a native English speaker, and there are some jarring spots.Ã,  Here are a few, so the programmer can improve:

"contestants", not "contestors"
"get a vibe", not "get an electric"
"refrigerator", not "refrigirator"
"sink", not "lavatory"
"wardrobe", not "warddrop"
I don't know what an "billfold manager" does, so I can't give a correct translation -- send me a PM and I'll see what I can do.

Thanks for your comments Michael. You're absolutely right with your 3 comments. English is my second language and this game was first made in Turkish. So i translated whole words in English later. Also, i think international players couldn't understand some of jokes because the game is based on Turkish version of Big Brother. i will consider your first and second comments.3rd comment, i will need someone English for perfect grammar

Thanks Barbarian. You're absolutely right. That 'rush' make us release more buggy games :) I'll wait till last bug's found :)

Thank you Barbarian,thewalrus and Gord10.  First game is available for download on AGS Game Pages. i'll try very hard not to make first game's mistakes again. Most of you criticized about grammar and bugs. I'll do my best this time i promise.

Ã,  Ã,  Ã, Looks quite interesting.....d/ling now...... will edit after I play the demo..... Okay, I started playing..... The graphics and animation are excellent. I just don't really understand what is going on in the game. Also when you choose an inventory item, I can't seem to get it swithched back to the hand icon or another item. Maybe it is a bug. I also couldn't enter my password in to the computer I was playing as yener....
Maybe you can help me out a little.....

Thanks thewalrus. What is going on the game? Think it's Big Brother and you're competing in the house. I just can explain like that :) If you wanna switch back to hand icon, just bring up the inventory window and close it. The password is yener01.

I'd play your demo, but you uploaded it to Rapidshare. I reached my limit of downloads from them for a free account, so no go for me.

I'd reccomend you get a second place to upload it to, check out the AGS forum upload guide if you haven't already!

  I also would like to upload to another place but its size is very huge and it takes  long time unluckily :(

Ã,  First, sorry for delaying. It should have been finished on June. Second, i couldn't add English voice as i promised. Sorry, i didn't have time for that. Except this, everything in English in the game.

Ã,  Ã, In this demo, 5 contestors -except you- are available. You can interact with them freely. You have a level of relationship with each other. These levels change when you talk with them.

I'd say, yes. Most AGS users aren't Turkish and/or don't speak that language. It might be better to make text for the dialogs as well.

~Yurina

Yurina, you misunderstood me. Voices will already be English. i just wondered, if anyone here can get hard to understand English voices. Then, i am adding English text to English voices. Thanks for attention
#257
i just finished Turkish version and now i'm making English translation. i want to ask you something. i will make dialogs of English version "voice only". But if you suggest to add text, i will make "voice and text". i don't know how many international players are here. May be UK players also get hard to understand voice because of pronounciation. So , do you want me to add text to dialogs ?
#258
Ok i got the message. Advanced users only :) Thank you very much.

Thanks SSH but i don't get something. can i use this to define what will happen when a is second or c is fifth. i mean, for example, i want to declare when a is second , Display ( "a is second ");  Can i declare this ?

Edit:

Thanks Radiant, now i get what | do ? it's something different than i thought. it's a math

  However, & and && are same thing to me. are they ? i use & on my operations and everytime it works like && operator

 i was trying to make SortNumbers module (with 6 numbers) last week and i did it actually. The problem is, module got 4500 lines.

Ã,  Description: i have 6 numbers(int) and i wanted to make them sort correctly first on top and last on the bottom. So i did something like this:

function SortNumbers(int a, int b, int c, int d, int e, int f) {
if ( (a>b)&(a>c)&(a>d)&(a>e)&(a>f) ) { // a is first
Ã,  Ã, // Code here;
}......

But like this, i had to define all winners, seconds, thirds so on. it lies to 4500 lines. Then i come up with a new idea and tried this:

Ã,  Ã, if ( a>(b&c&d&e&f) ) { // a is first

Ã,  Ã, }
Ã,  Ã, if ( b >(a&c&d&e&f) ) { // b is first
Ã,  Ã, ...................
Ã,  Ã, ...................
Ã,  Ã,
Ã,  Ã, if ( (b|c|d|e|f) > (b|c|d|e|f ) > (a) > (b|c|d|e|f ) > (b|c|d|e|f ) > (b|c|d|e|f ) ) { // a is third
Ã,
Ã,  Ã,  ..................
Ã,  Ã,  ..................

Ã,  Ã, That was easier and approximately 300 lines. But i had a problem, AGS engine, thought every expressions as true and ran every command. So, the result was: f is first, f is second, f is third, f is fourth, f is fifth and f is sixth.

Afterwards, i tried five numbers:

function SortNumbers(int a, int b, int c, int d, int e) {

}

Suprisingly, it worked fine. i just thought it is because of bitwise or | operator.

Can anyone tell me what does | operator actually do ? More than 3 | in one paranthesis can not work ? How do Windows OSÃ,  sort everything that easy ?
