You won't understand the language, so i am giving walkthrough:
When demo finish, take the camera from table.Exit home and give camera to guy with brown coat (in the street). He will tell you how to make a fake certificate to join rapbattles. Go to bookstore and talk to the guy.Look at your inv. You will see pink carton.Use your pencil on carton.Use picture on written carton.Than give it to guy with brown coat. He will push a seal it and give back to you. Now you can join the battles but you can't win and paradox will occur.in order to win battles you must get microphone from red t-short guy. To beat him,follow this order:
"sen ise gozumde..........."
"mumya gibisin........."
if you choose these options you will beat him and he will give you silver microphone. Now you can join and win battles.But if you want to have more scores, use silver mic on him and if you can beat him you will get golden mic. if you lose you will lose silver mic. i dont want to tell how you can get golden mic. if you play and stuck there PM me and i will help. Anyway, even with silver mic. you can win rap battles. Go to Rapstar building.Show your certificate to bodyguard. Once you are in, it's kind of ending sequence. Enjoy, watch the battles :)

    i just gave the link you to have an idea what Rapstar 1 look like. wish i could translate it to English  :(

     in fact, you should realize name of game is Rapstar 1.5.That means there is Rapstar 1. Unfortunately, its language is Turkish.That's why i didn't mention Rapstar 1 here.As you said, there is traditional puzzles and story in Rapstar 1.

     Turkish rappers very liked that game and still demand me to make its second version with sounds of famous rapper "Ceza" in Turkey. i am trying to reach Ceza and take his right to use his sounds and beats in the game.
   
     i think if someone can take licences of famous international rappers (Eminem,50 Cent,....) and make a rap battle game with them, that game would be very attractive for people who love rap music.

     Anyway, you should probably ask me why i didn't make Rapstar 1 English version. Answer is simple, i don't have enough English to make Freestyle lyrics. Turkish verison was easy to me but i don't think i can write English lyrics. i can't handle rhymes.

     if somebody decide to make Rapstar 1 in English, i can send him story,scenario,puzzles.Rest of it is up to you  :)
   
     Rapstar 1.5 combo system is enjoyable and hard to script. i didn't have mistakes so far.But if i have, i will let you know

Babar don't cry please :) i keep it to Rapstar 2. Rapstar 1.5 is something like test. if i succeed the rap battle basic, i will do more complex battles and words in next game

I can agree with Ozzie. The idea is nice. Prox....I know that it is not my place to tell you how to make your game, but CONCENTRATE ON THE DIALOGUE! Don't take inspiration from Escape from Monkey Island, play Monkey Island 1 and 3, and get some ideas from there. I'd love the idea of a rap battle game

i want to make clear gameplay.There is no dialog system. instead, when you press a key (i.e A) character will say something like "yeah".And pressing S would be "come on".You can also make combo. if AI can not resist your moves, you will win the round. Combo system is not completed. i am working on it  :)

  Wow guys, i don't want to be part of rap vs metal-rock battle. Calm down. This is just a game  :) Ok, i love rap and you know rap battle is very good idea for game.i see some of you like screens and some of not. i am not a graphmaster, i am doing my best. i am really working hard to make AI perfect. May be AI will not be perfect. You will decide it. if you want to play a game based on rap, this is your game.
 
   By the way, i red readme file of Ron characters before starting Rapstar. There is no restririction to use characters.However, i will  definitely put RON Entertainment in credits.

       Rapstar 1.5 is -as you guess-  based on hiphop.Especially i took inspiration from Eminem's movie: 8 mile. The character you controlled is Feminem  ;) He try to beat his challengers in freestyle rap battle.


       The game based on turn-based rap battle.Like Street Fighter, but we won't fight with hands, just with mouth  :)  Other example to define type of game is Monkey Kombat in Monkey Island 4. Player will push some key buttons and tries to defend or attack with rap.AI will respond player.There are still some backgrounds to design. No sound effects made so far.i could say  Rapstar 1.5
is going to be finished in 1 week

14.06.2005 -- Added 2 new screens
17.06.2005 -- Graphics:%95
                       Music: %100
                       Sound: %100
                       Scripting: %40
Due to long scripting, relaese date delayed to 20.06.2005

i noticed why script didn't work.
in second script,  line 3:
//if (IsTimerExpired(2)==0) {  ----> // is deactivating this line and also in line 82:

if you fix these lines the script will work

sunshinegold; i decided not to put arcade games in the next game.But, i will make some word fighting.For example; insult fighting in Monkey Island 4. However, insults won't be bad language. if i have to use bad language, i will just space it like a... Do i make myself clear  ;)

i really didn't realize that there are lots of girls here.i think whole people who typed messages to this topic are girls(except Gord10).i am very surprised and glad so many girls playing adventure games.

i thought to make some arcade puzzels in the next game. if you dont like it, than i won't make arcade :) Making arcade is difficult and taking lots of time anyway

Fellas i am really glad you like the game. i worked on it 1,5 months.Better game was in my mind (especially the ending sequence). Here read this:

in the end, i designed matrix style fighting.When the player kick first agent, player must have rotated on his around 3 times.And when the first agent move to floor,player must have keep moving and second agent also fall.
After all of this, when the player start to fly, he must have hit the top of the building and said "help". But script order was confused and it just passed to the next room.Sorry for this deficiencies.i will correct it in my next game

sunshinegold, i know puzzels are easy,because i made a game before which is Turkish. Many people from Turkey complained about its difficulty and getting stuck.Some of them asked me how to go from first room to another:) That's why i made easy game so everyone can solve.
But when i see your solving ability, i decided to make clear but more difficult puzzels in next game.

i think you're right.in my way, i can only highlight hotspot,not objects and characters.@OVERHOTSPOT@ is better but i will mention an old game again:)

in 7 days sceptic, how could he succed to highlight all characters,objects and hotspots in mouse.x,mouse.y? i couldn't solve yatcheez's(creator of game) secret.

i want to get hotspot name at mouse.x and mouse.y.So i did this:
Hotspot-->Mouse moves over hotspot

int over1;
CreateTextoverlay(............);
Wait(1);
RemoveOverlay(1),

The problem is; i don't want textoverlay lost. i just want it appeared when mouse over hotspot and not disappeared.
When i don't use RemoveOverlay command, the game crashes because of exceeding max.number of overlays in screen.Where am i doing wrong?
are there any other ways to show hotspot name at mouse.x,mouse.y?
