Oh no, I agree, I was just pointing out how terrible and stupid it was way back when it was supposed to be the 'next big thing'.

I do see obstacles though.

The one I tried was one of those big arcadey type games. I had the helmet thing on and they gave me some kind of controller thing to use for shooting or whatever the game was about. The problem was that I ended up with the cable from the helmet wrapped all around me and a serious case of dizzyness as my body tried to decide if it was actually moving or not. One of the more impressive pieces of the technology was how you would move your head and have a second of lag before the visuals updated themselves. I'm surprised they didn't hand you a barf bag as they strapped you in.

Are you considered old if you actually remember the Virtual Reality hype of the 90's?
I actually tried it.
It was beyond the worst form of terrible ever.

Another one that amused me was one of the Joe Pesci Show episodes, where he had Jim Carrey and Jimmy Stuart on as guests.
The guy that used to be on Kids in the Hall played Jim Carrey, and Jim Carrey played Jimmy Stuart.
Then at one point Stuart gets annoyed at Carrey and starts impersonating HIM.
So you've got Jim Carrey impersonating Jimmy Stuart, impersonating Jim Carrey.
Classic.

Willie was supposed to be obnoxious and useless.
She was the Nega-Marion.

Has anyone seen the SNL skit where Kevin Spacey plays Walken auditioning for the role of Han Solo?
I think it's on Ifilm.

Heh, I got the one with the "])ipl()m/\" in it also.
Gee, that sounds reputable.

Hi Jess.
I'm Erics man-stalker.
His art makes me want to eat his heart so I can get his powers.

PS: Play Monkey Island.

Looks really nice, but seriously, I don't think I've ever seen Blue Cup on any of the AGS homepages.
Come on guys...

PS I think the font for 'Adventure Game Studio' should be the same as the spash screen for roomedi... I mean, AGS. Simply because, in my dirty marketing mind, the brand is all confused. Integrated marketing communications and all that. Ah. AAH.

PSS All work and no play make Shawno go crazy.

I got that exact one today.
If you really want to help someone out, feel free to have a pizza delivered to me, since my fridge is empty.

Holy crap.
Now someone please explain how to jam that stuff into the GBA.

Congrats C.

I used to work in a warehouse and I can honestly say that sometimes while I'm drooling on myself at my desk, I wish I was back there. I think the most rewarding work I ever did was delivering furniture and stuff. Physical work = the shit.

Ever notice how everyone always thanks god, but no one ever thanks themselves for working hard and getting themselves to that point?

Give yourselves a little credit, for facks sake.

Well, not Halle Berry or any of those useless fools who don't deserve the praise they get.

I vote Ben Stiller in all categories.

Well, if I go by response to my games, then people love characters that are either really, really stupid, or really, really evil.
#255
I maintain that I am really the most general person around.

I will strive harder for next year.

I think maybe you all should remember that doing other things takes time away from working on FoY, and you don't want that.

I think he should start calling it the AGS Suite, because it sounds neat.

The nature of advertising is to inform and influence. There are laws that stop people from lying and being deceptive, unfortunately, the online world is so new that the laws haven't caught up with it yet.
