Yeah, I don't get why people would give up just because someone else is doing it.
Hopefully you can bring your own vision to the table, and maybe put a spin on the original that no one has though of. That's the only real point of doing a remake.

I think you should focus less on using filters and effects on your artwork. They're there for details and effects, and when relied upon too much just make the artwork look amateurish.

I took a nutrition class and a weight training class in college. The real trick is to work on changing your lifestyle, and not rely on just dieting for a few months. You'll lose the weight with a 'fad' diet or whatever, but once it's over, you just end up going back to eating the way you originally were, and therefore gain everything back.
Also, excercise, beyond the obvious health benefit, is a massive boost to the self esteem. Whenever I train, I feel a lot better about myself, and much more motivated to, well, get off my ass and do things.

You are like the exact same height and weight as I am right now.
I'd like to say that I think 50 pounds may be a bit much. I think you may be better to target 180lbs or so.
