Well, I'm quite hairy and wear pretty much just jeans and t-shirts all the time, so I'm gonna have to use another example from personal experience.

When I was a kid, no one had computers. I was the only one. These were in the dark ages when only losers and geeks knew how to turn a computer on. I never told people about my hobby, because it always ended in my feelings being hurt.
Anyways, nowadays everyone uses them, at least for the internet, and I bet if you asked, most people wouldn't be able to give you a real good reason why things were different years ago.

Point being, times change. Points of view evolve. Does that mean you should wait around for it to happen? Why not look ahead and try to be open minded? Hopefully one day gay people will be accepted for what they are. Hell, hopefully one day everyone will be accepted for what they are. Why not get ahead of the pack?

I like hugging girls too.

There's a difference between being politically un-correct and being ignorant.
If you don't want your opinion discussed, then don't bring it up, especially if you go out of your way to make sure it's going to be an unpopular one.

Bill O'Riley... come on.

I would, but you already know that, since we talked about it before.
I bet a lot of people would. The big issue is making transactions easy over the net. A lot of people are still afraid to use their credit cards, paypal is annoying etc...

I would question the '6% of the population' thing, but there's no real way to know. Where do these numbers come from anyways? Surveys? Yeah, because people who are in the closet are really going to come out just so we can all get a more accurate picture.
"You know, I've been agonizing over when I should tell my friends and family about this, but now that this survey thing has come up, well, looks like here's my chance!"
Anyways.
Czar -> Ok, that's cool. I thought you were mocking the idea.

I don't think people are either crazy or not, some are just more crazy than the rest of us.

With a name like Snake, how can I resist?

I'll be keeping my eye on this.
The original bg's with the newer Roger is just... well... interesting.
Can't wait to see what other personal touches you can bring to the game.

MrBig is right. Stores are overrated.
Ionias has the right idea. It's a little more work, but at least you've got complete control over everything, and you don't have to deal with pea brained game store employees.

Doesn't matter if it's been brought up before. The thread is gone, and everyone needs to play that game.

I'd like to know what 'selling well' means exactly.
I've always wondered if it's just that the industries standards for what's considered a success have increased, and that adventure games aren't actually selling any worse at all.

I tried clark.kent@dailyplanet.com and I started getting all those damn chainletters and viruses from him. Also, his spelling is terrible.

I think they're really great, but personally I'm getting a little sick of the twisted DOTT style doors everyone loves doing.
Other than that though I love them. The strange textures on the walls and floors are awsome.

I actually made Earwig as an experiment.
First I wanted to see if anyone would point out the fact that he wasn't a white kid (No one did, and most people I asked later said they didn't even notice).
Secondly, I wanted to see what kind of reaction I would get to a game that was basically nothing but causing harm to others.
Well, needless to say, it got a more positive reaction than any of my other games (Aside from on HOTU. Man, I love that site.). I don't know why. Maybe it was the content, maybe my other games suck, or maybe people just like the Devil character...

I would debate macs being more stable.
However, I don't use OSX yet at work, so maybe that isn't as crappy.

When I was a kid I wanted to be an astronaut.
Alas... the teen years brought with them a general disinterest in, well, everything, and so those dreams tanked quickly.
Other than that I wanted to make adventure games. Seriously.

Last I heard, simply visiting a site wasn't illegal.
I'm pretty sure they have to actually catch you with illegal materials.
Either way, just say you were doing research for a book or something.

80% of Rode Quest 2 was made on a mac using Virtual PC.
The problem with that would be
a) Virtual PC emulates like, a P200 which makes it impossibe to do a high res game and stuff.
b) You still have a mac when you turn VPC off.
