Slightly off topic, but would anyone be interested in forming a beta testing alliance? Everyone that joins would get basic training in beta testing, you'd learn how to note things and how to co-operate with the developers and stuff. Just an idea, but then when people need agame beta tested, they can just turn up at a website or something and select some people they'd like to test the game.

Great idea, M0ds.

I want to have a legacy in the AGS comunity, and I will be known as the premiere beta tester in the forums.  I will work my way up in the ranks, and eventually, I will rule all beta testers!   Muah-ha-ha-ha-ha!

Yeah sure I'll do it.

I'll be your fifth man.

Just give me a keyboard, and I will run and jump and shoot and feedback!  ;D

ArcSoft PhotoStudio

I haven't heard anyone else on here use it but it's a cheap imitation of photoshop, and it is actually pretty good!

How will we be notified when the beta verion is ready for testing?

Bum Buh buh-bummm!!!  My first sprite jam image!  Yay!  :

Hehehe.  You know you want it.  Only $90 after mail-in rebate.

I don't think there should be a remake.  Producers and directors have tempered with classics too much.  I think that this movie in particular should be kept the way it is...

I see a CGI Oompa-loompa.  :-\   It's closer than you think...  :o

Although Johnny Depp as Willy Wonka is a great casting descision.

I like that idea.  Thre could be a little radio in the Preferences or the main editor asking if you want to have the sprites pre-scaled.  Then you could round up the main size of the images and put them in the boxes.

Brilliant!

If there is a guitar part,  any chance of getting the music in Guitar Tabs?

Hehehe.  I'm 13 so I can't go and if it's 18 and up I'm not sure I want to go...

There should me a Mittens for AGSers 17 and under!

It could be called the MittenMinors!
Don't mind me...

It's funny because I am going to the Northeast this summer, and we are going to be driving all around upstate NY (Hoards or relatives and aquaintences)
Everyone watch for me in a cafe!  I look like this:  8)

"5 o'clock lock."

A riveting short game about my dad  locked in his office.  For his birthday!

April 1st, 11:38, 22 seconds to be precise

EDIT:  Aww crap, I misunderstood your question.  Sorry   Hehehe  ::)

The cursor thing isn't too hard.

Make each frame of your animated cursor, and import them all to the AGS editor.

Make a new view in the view editor.

Go to cursors, change the look of the default cursor in whatever interaction you want.  Click "animate"  using whatever view number you made. Then click "cursor over hotspot" or whatever it is.

Good luck on your first project!

OK, thanks for the assistance.

But now I ask this:

How can I use them to my advantage by displaying the object that the mouse is over on the status bar at the top of the screen?
