Turn off scaling antialiasing.. I think that's causing it.  I notice it too, think it only happens when you scally the character higher than 100%.. which you should avoid anyway, just draw the character as big as you need him.

Heh, maybe they send that out then a little later one advertising one of those internet history eraser programs hoping people will be scared into buying it :)

Excuse me Mr Trant, everyone has tried to be helpful to you.  You're trying to do things AGS isn't designed for and without trying to be offensive you don't seem to have much experience with these things.

AGS is for making adventure games, you will not be able to make the things you are asking for unless A you do more basic things first and learn slowly or B you ask nicely and clearly for help.

Calling people dicks is not the way to go about it.

I beg you to just make a simpler point and click adventure game which is more suited to your skill level or grow up a bit and ask for help properly, you seem pretty childish for your age at the moment.

If should import correctly.. 24 bit is fine.

Sorry if you didn't get it.. the idea was that the majority of players would be playing because of the sexual nature of the title and since there's no nudity in the game at the end she'd take her top off for about 2 frames then it'd crash ._. but from what I've heard that's not how AGA did it >:|

The crash is intentional anyway ;)

Heh, seems a funny thing to ask.. it's not like you'd ask a master painter how to make great paintings.. you might ask for tips and that's all I can offer (not that I'm a pro sprite artist ;) )..

Here's a few

1 you can't make good sprites like those if you can't draw so practice your general art skills
2 Practice again
3 Look at sprites you like, close up.. try to see techniques they've used
4 Don't expect to be as good as the best, or that you need to be.
5. People, like those in Broken sword are hard, you need to know what people look like and how to draw them, I can't know if there are any easy tips for that.  You can base your sprites off other ones you admire though I suppose.

Oh I have ;) Well the first.. haven't got anywhere in it though.  It's certainly the best Sierra game I've played so far..

Who's Jane Jensen?
Ah Gabriel Knight person.. well that's nice.  They seemed well designed.. even if I'm yet to solve a puzzle in any of them.

As an (un)related problem the left click on my wacom tablet does register in IsButtonDown(LEFT);.. works with ight though.  I thought somethng must be wrong in my script for ages >:|
That's just a random addition really ._. I'll use my other mouse instead

He asked if one had been MADE :P

Perhaps once you have a few more issues out.

Good work :)  Hope it becomes a regular thing, I like the previews.

If it's on your own GUI just make a button that runs the QuitGame() command.

Don't reduce saturation or contrast, it's fine.. just needs more shading for light, should have the four squares of the window cast onto the floor and long shadows to the left.  I'd dirty it up like Vel said though.

you could use the AGS (only) uploader http://2dadventure.com/ags/upload/upload.html as I still can't see it.

Flash isn't the best for low res things, at 640x480 and higher it can be nice though.
#1498
In flash, well.. it should work.  Just export things by making sure they are the only thing on the stage and going 'File>export Image'
You probably won't want antialiasing on so uncheck smoothing, should work fine.

The largest games generally have people helping out with some art or music other than the creator but a few have been made totally alone yeah.

Nice tutorial, layers are something everyone should learn to use.  I've never used that kind of setup of layers myself, usually just the line art then a multiply layer for the colour then sometimes light or shadow overlays on top but whatever you're doing they are useful.
Thanks for sharing your techniques :)
