Seems strange you'd want to know if people died ._. I'd rather just assume they got bored with AGS, left and did something productive.

I don't think there is at the moment, but you could always just save the pages from the site.

The MP3 format is patented, that means any commercial software has to pay to use it, that goes for ags's player or anything else.  XM, S3M and MOD are fine as far as I know.  OGG is the best replacement for MP3, it's free software so you don't have to pay to use it even in commercial games (there is a build of ags available with no MP3 player in it if you wanted to sell it), it's comparable in size and quality to mp3.
MIDI is also fine.

just do

character[EGO].activeinv=-1;

that's not a global int :)  Global ints just have numbers.

I worry about this too, I'm sure my monitor is dark and it's annoying when I do some art on this pc and take it somewhere else and it looks a lot worse..  Those monitor calibration screens are good, I'll probably put one in my game. There's no other way around it that I know of.

Looks quite nice, not as impressive as Doom 3 or Half Life 2 are looking but it's supposed to be a fun game.. never played Halo myself because I don't have an xbox ._.

flickery?  Do you mean animated, if so just make the animation frames for the cursor then put them into a view and set the cursor to that view.
#1515
'And is there a document that lists the max number of frames for animated objects, backgrounds, and the like? Thanks again in advance.'

Almost everything can be found in the help file.  All the animations for objects and characters are done with views the same as walk cycles, the maximum number of frames in one sequence of a view is 20, but if it's a long animation you can make the sequences merge together to form one long animation.

Maximum frames for an animated background is 5, but they are not realy recommended unless you actually have to animate a whole scene, better to use animated objects usually which can have hundreds of frames.
#1516
Mine says both and I don't have to press shift ;)
#1517
I don't think the number of frames will slow it down a lot.. just incease the filesize a bit.  The maximum number of frames I've ever used is 9 and that's pretty smooth, it's probably extra work for little gain to do 20.

I asked that, it's so it doesn't autocomplete script commands that aren't supposed to go into dialog scripts.  It's still in the normal script editor.
#1519
ooh, well, it's possible.  But it'd take a lot of scripting.  I'd advise you to make a game that doesn't have any arcadey type sequences at first, unless you're an experienced scripter in something similar.

Barcik, I would guess it means that they turn through their direcional views like they do when you turn when walking.  That instead of facing the direction instantly.

Nice feature additions CJ :)
