Not technically possible, look at another engine.

Yeah, feel free to use the upload service, it needs testing.  I mirrored the larger file if people want to get that somewhere easier, http://www.americangirlscouts.org/agsuploads/files/ESPER.zip

If you want to use 7zip the best thing for everyone is to make it self extracting (exes are supported for upload), because only a tiny minority can extract that format.

Didn't you ever browse the critics lounge when Neole was posting?

Steve was the dog's name! It said so on his tag.
We called him Acropolis Steve.

If you need somewhere to upload all these rare games you have then that isn't a problem, we've been trying to collect as many AGS games as possible together before they disappear entirely.

The result of it is something like "Tell meeeee.  *poke scotch* Tell meeeEEEE,  *poke scotch repeatedly* Tell me or I'll kill you."
200 points! I still win!

Our flight to Greece won't be delayed, because it's not by BA, we change at Geneva.  I looked to see how our flight out of london was looking and was glad to see that today's 6:30 flight to Geneva went out nearly on time, which bodes well for tomorrow's.

"Near coffee" eh? I hope I can find you all when I arrive, I don't have a phone.

While it's not particularly pretty or scalable to large numbers, this would do it:
Code: ags

int a;
int b;
int c;

a=random(4);
b=a;
while(b==a) b=random(4);
c=a;
while(c==a || c==b) c=random(4);

Speaking of meeting at airports, does anyone know of an easy place for us Brits to meet at Heathrow? What times do you all get in? (I arrive by coach there at 3:15am). Ã, I am not sure if I want to bring this tent or not... it isn't particularly heavy, but a bit bulky. Ã, It's apparently a 4 man tent, so in reality I expect it is suitable for about 2.5 normal sized people. Ã, If Helm does manage to get some prices that'll be helpful in deciding.
3 days from now we'll be in Athens airport :D

Hm, the site is updated when it needs to be... the scripting tutorial was updated for 2.7, the manual is always in compiled html help format with the program, the AGS map is being updated, and new games are put on the games page...
RSS feed of new games added might be nice though, I don't check the new games forum too much but a feed I would subscribe to.

Your upload speed looks fine, 30KiB/s (32 under perfect conditions) is the max for a normal ADSL connection in the UK, they always leave uploads at 256kbps because they are stingy and it helps hamper p2p piracy.
The download is half of what you should get of course... are you sure this is on all sites? You might get better transfers from elsewhere... though this site does seem to be fine with sending 1MiB/s+

Gil, that's why I suggested Ogg Theora support to him, it is a good choice because it's under a totally free license, has no patent encumberances (like mpeg does), and is a modern codec aimed at competing with divx/xvid for compression quality.
But in addition to that, internal mpeg decoding might be nice for those wanting a less CPU intensive codec, for slower machines.
Nice to see some progress on the ports.

Well it was working :P it just needed some beta testing, and still does, like we probably wouldn't have noticed the bug that broke it just then without a load of people entering data.
I think it works pretty well now, there are just a few enhancements that I'd like to make to make it run faster in IE, and to cit down the load on the server a bit.

General Discussion / Re: Good pay Webspace?

Ipowerweb has been where many of the AGSer sites have been hosted in the past.  We recently got our own dedicated server to host sites on so they were moved to that, but Ipowerweb was a decent host, I think.
Bandwidth for games is tricky to estimate, generally you'd expect to use a few gb a month, but for example, when BJ4 was released AGA's bandwidth surged and the 40gb ran out in a couple of weeks.

Yes, thanks for pointing that out.  I know what is wrong with it now, I'll get AGA to update it when I see him.

The confusion is because the content is in the game files, the textures and animations, the script, but there's no way to access them without using a small mod to do so (on pc) or using a cheating device on the PS2. Ã, So things are slightly more murky than the average nude patch, and it's not totally unreasonable to suspect that Rockstar intended it to be found and unlocked. Ã, This doesn't make the public outcry any more sensible given the nature of the game and the already high age limit, and of course it is only the media attention this has got that has caused the ratings boards to reclassify the game. Ã, If it was purely a user modification this might not have happened.
Funnily enough, the Sims cheats code for visible "nudity" (they have no bits!) is actually in game, requiring no modification. Ã, The sims is so innocent that it seems silly to suggest people would go after that, but Jack Thomson claimed EA were collaborating with the mod community to turn it into a "porn offering", nuts.

You people are easily pleased!  Which is good.
I want to do something indicating where people are found at a far out zoom... I'm looking in to it.
