I hope this thread belongs here and not in Editor scripting questions.

I unzipped all the files of AGS 3.3.0 onto my HDD and it runs like it should from where I placed these files when clicking ASGEditor.exe. But when I click on an AGS project's main *.agf files win7 doesn't know what to do with it. At first win7 opened the files with 3.2.1 as I still had it installed. As I want to use 3.3.0 now I just deleted the 3.2.1 files as I found no uninstall, so win7 couldn't open *.agf files with AGS 3.2.1 anymore and I get the 'open file with?' dialog window. I navigate to the AGS 3.3.0 folder and chose AGSEditor.exe. I click it and nothing happens, the AGS Editor is not added to the list of programs win7 tries to open the filetype with. The AGS runtime engine can be selected though and now is connected to *.agf files, but that doesn't work and I get an error everytime clicking an *.agf file.
What do I do? How can I delete wrong entries from the open filetype with-list and how can I connect .agf files to AGSEditor 3.3.0?

For everyone interested, I made the highscore on a healthy overdose of caffeine. This helps a lot staying focused on boring repetitive tasks. Glad there are no doping tests on Floaty Rog' Highscores ;)

cool podcast. But in conclusion I have to say this podcast is too linear. There are branching pathes everywhere, which is good, but in the end there is some thread you follow. Please work on this and make a nonlinear podcast sometime in the future :D

"Oh! I wonder what would happen if I..." absolutely fits here. at first I was a bit disappointed that there are no fun interactions with the heads and blood and so on screen already so this is the perfect category for this screen.

Good to hear that, keep up the good work.
Just out of interested, is sprite number 6666 more like 20% of what you are aiming for, or like 50% or even like 90% or the sprites needed?

Come on! You are a master wizard, what you did is really astonishing! It took a long time and the result is really polished, I like 3.3.0 and will use it a lot, just like 3.2.1 lasted long. I'm not expecting update cycles like on firefox or chrome just to have a new version number. Just relax, take a break, take some vacations from ags coding and go party. Because ... YAY!
But I'm somehow confident if you ever decide to stop coding on the AGS source in the future because of unity or so you will not leave us here and sooner or later get some interest in this again anyways. I saw this is your wizard glass sphere. but yeah, YAY 3.3.0!!! \o/

short answer: Video has to be in the same resolution as the game.
extension: but you can create it in a bigger resolution and scale it to the desired resolution before using it in game and/or use some pan and scan tecs.

What Monsieur OUXX said is that we enjoy distributed development, no matter if for art or code, and everybody is encouraged and invited to join in and help on a fangame for Fate of Atlantis that we build in our free time. We totally do this on our own and every helping hand, be it only for a short time or for longer, is very welcome. Thanks again to Ryan Timothy. And also thanks again to Christian Cammileri who drew some beautiful backgrounds for us, this is also very appreciated.
