No more guesses?
I think a lot more people have seen this film than  people have seen upstream color.

@knox:
As far as I can see from here the shadow on your sprite 547 has much less opacity than the shadow on image 549 ;)

now that sounds interesting. Any chance you want to share some screenshots with us or even open a game in development thread?

Hello Weavers!

As you might have read in the last update thread, release date for Forge: Chapter One has been set to the first half of December 2013.

Anyway, we still need a 3rd stage of beta-testing to wipe out Chaos' minions, the ones that blended so well in the Pattern of Reality and made it this far in the testing process.
Do you still remember the Draft of Cleaning?
It's time to blow the dust away from your Book of Patterns and wield your Distaff once again.

You're officially invited to the island of Loom.

Enter the Rift, NOW!

See you there,
Quill O' the Wisp Team

This looks really good and interesting, but the lime wallpaper also puts me off.
You don't need walkable areas at all when you fix the y coordinate of the player and only have him walk left and right according to mouseclicks (see ktx-1 for example).

Critics' Lounge / Re: Bug Walk

I'm no expert for bug motion (yet) but I'd try to make him lift the 2nd pair of legs right when the first pair hits the ground again, otherwise he will move back the first pair of legs, which means motion forewards for the whole bug (when the animation is not staying in the same place like in this example) and thus he drags the 2nd pair of legs over the ground for a little while before lifting the second pair of legs. With 6 legs this is a really complex walkcycle, would a snail also work as a replacement? ;)
about the bug model iteself, you can see that it is a bug but it looks very robotic. The head, the eyes the antennas make it look like calculon from futurama or so. What make it look even more robotic is that the motion of the body seems independent from the motion of the legs. The legs are the things moving and should drag the body around and thus the body should be moving less than it is atm. Also the head could bump up and down with the motion and this wiggles the antennas accordingly. Same for the tail. The legs have 2 more joints than just the connection to the body, make use of them wisely.

:-D

I'd have moved the guys on the left even farther to the left so that you can see more from them, and I#d probably have added a reflection of them on the shiny ground. But these guys fit in there perfectly, plotting their own evil plans.

@Arcangel: As the last MAGS had a game where every Background image is a collage from different parts of different animals I see no reason why these lovely isometric background should not be accepted. But I can't see how the theme of friendship is in there, but then, I didn't play the game yet, but surely will ;)
