Now that's a cool game with a great atmosphere and some smaller bugs that could have been avoided.

@fitz: That's the hairiest sky I've ever seen, but it sure looks good and unique.

It might have been lost in the second post, but Selmiak said that Assange was a victim of rape in some sense. That's what Myinah was objecting to, and I think quite rightly.

Of course the word 'rape' can be used figuratively. But whatever you think about Assange he wasn't a victim of rape, literally or figuratively.

may i rephrase my wording, for assange i meant the word rape methaphorical, probably not a fitting contrasting choice, I mean he was framed there, not set up, but then, maybe the whole meeting was set up, I'd totally fall for 2 swedisch fembots, uhm, or fangirls.:=

Darth, I'm deadly serious about discussing alien terraforming ;)
But if it came off as offensive or negative or offtopic or made your sithsense tingle, please delete my last post...

after turning the thing 180° i have to say the darkest dark is just right and such a nice subtle contrast that really fit the mood. at least on my screensettings :P
#2967
yeqhplz don't push this topic if you are not convinced and celeb5rating and want to discuss some extraterrestrial terraforming plans or your brainz will be zapped!

Do you really think people will pour in and help us make the coolest Indiana Jones fanadventure with the most people involved ever with your rockstar gta attitude of 'accidentaly' leaking information? The intellectual capabilities and imaginations of people here are way too sophisticated to fall for such a bland scheme to have fun and push some pixels. And please don't reveal that we have a HD PiXels interactive cutscene with a naked sophia hapgood, this should rather be kept secret*

these are not the words you want to read, just visit the 7cog website and sign up to help out!!

damned, I thought I'd kick off some informationrapepolitics related discussion, well, maybe form of rape was not that good of an expression, but Julian Assange probably got some kind of (form of) raped. I mean, if you run a website leaking top secret informations from the us gouvernment you especially don't go around raping people, you just don't do it! Otherwise they might have something on you besides the truth you reveal and they don't want to be heard... in my opinion these swedish accusating girl are dissappointed fangirls bought out by $randomsecretservice. The funny thing is I have no facts to back this, just my own sense for people.

I'd like to help betatest the game, I enjoyed doing this for wages of darkness for you already.

AGS Games in Production / Re: Conspirocracy

haha, this is great. You should also add that as some unlockable content for doing funny stuff in the game like completing it or so ;)
#2972
this is great! :D
you can pledge via paypal once they made their goal, right?
#2973
Who are these people?

But anyways, what do you think of another form of rape, namely rape accusations against political enemies. Like against Julian Assange. I don't know why a man spreading US government secrets should go around a rape 2 swedish girls. But after revelations that the NSA virtually wiretaps the whole net globe, the show trial of bradley manning and forcing the plane of the bolivian president to land because edward snowden could be on board, why shouldn't the CIA contact 2 girls that had something with assange because he is a semifamous dangerous man and offer them money and more fame when they claim he raped them. Or they were agents all along, as far as i know they came into contact via the internet, so there is a lot of room for all kind of dirty spy business.

Do blondes dream of flying sharks? ;)

As the FM Town was for the japanese market mostly, maybe this was some target audience decision. I mean, have you see the cover art for the FM Town Zak McKracken? Maybe they thought the cliff puzzle was just a filler or too frustrating for japanese people, who knows what goes through the heads of people deciding where to cut which.

and while I'm still here I can also write down some thoughts...

Ben:
Beautiful lazy latesummer colors, keep that colorscheme. Nice arrangement of the elements on the picture.

selmiak
You gotta try harder. But remember, you don't have time anyways :P

Babar:
Cool idea to use the tree on the cover. For a somehow tradition cover you could still use the 2 maincharacters' faces looking meaningful into the distance with some reduced opacity composed somewhere over the tree. I'd just copy the font technocrat used for the game, he'll like it.

whaeela
That are some cool ideas, I like your favourite 3rd sketch also the most. These characters a bit distorted in perspective over the sphere is an instant classic.

oraxon
Yep, strangle everyone, go for F. The old man not actually visible, but his beard is very suspenseful.

soxbrooker
That's a cool composition, but I'd use a more fancy font for the title. And don't forget to overlay a color correction layer at the end to level out the colorscheme of the different elements to another.

Ilych
all your thumbnailideas are great, I like 2 the least, 1, 3 and 4 are all cool on their own. Look at the waheelas feedback post above, maybe you can split these 3 scenes and arrange them with a bold border like in one of the comic panels.

calicoreverie
Yay, streets with zombies nearing are an instant win. The character has to hove that I don't give a fuck kickass attitude :)

nihilyst
cool heroic pose, but every hero needs his girl on the cover too, maybe from behind as she is leaving through the door, which is her main role in the game as far as I remember.

cat
it's funny to read your thoughts on your concepts. I like the 'interesting but not readable' from above view. But the current perspective is even more interesting, keep it dark, maybe in a sin city style with only the orange of the overall as a single flashy color and the shadows of the bars on her do their own moodenhancing thing.

Ascovel
Yay, splitscreens with speedlines for the win! Does the hero really wear mintgreen pants?

miez
Cool concepts, a mix between 4 and 12 but would be without BJ then, so the current one is the right choice. Love that colors and texture of the water already.

CitizenParagon
Cool shot with a priceless look on the hero's face. Wouldn't know what to suggest, it's simple and great, simply great, perhaps make the font more 3d like and fit it to the wacky cartoony perspective.

Yes, expanding across the globe is the only resonable thing to do :D
Sounds like some paperwork or online form work but *could* work. *Note: I'm not a lawyer so I can give free legal advise without any knowledge*
#2978
Can't he just do it in your name? Which he would do anyways then but more official by using your name. Like, you suddenly moved to america to his address or so. And when the campaign is successful it is also easier to run away with the loot then. And also: always listen to what people advice you to do on the internet ;)
Sorry can't be of much help in this tricky situation.
#2979
Combined with that oculus rift thingy that would be trippy as hell 8-0
#2980
that's an interesting concept. But more interesting for the programmer of the game than for the player. In platformers I prefer levels made by a leveldesigner that puts in some mean parts rather than casual levels generated by an algorithm that is told to make levels that have to be playable. And letting a random app scan my whole files is another story of security.
