yeah, the spacestation looks intersting but could need some more shiny surface, either windows or sunsails or solar cells.
The earth is cool. If you want to improve it, check gleb alexandrov's space tutorials, but they are mostly paid tutorials...

this is beautiful. Only the paved path in the foreground could also be a stone wall. Maybe add some papers or other trash to make the path flat. or widen and flatten the individual stones, I think they are not in perspective. Maybe add a tree on the right that casts a shadow over the path, that should make easier to read.

Krita can do a lot for your rastergfx needs.

looking good already. Another image host would be nice, it doesn't embed from BA for me.

This is exactly what I had imagined :  http://creamy.r.c.f.unblog.fr/files/2018/10/photo-1.png

Yeah, you told me that in a dream the night before I painted the image, don't you remember? This is exactly the reason I did draw it this way ;-D

General Discussion / Re: AudioGame Jam 3

wow, that idea is interesting for a jam and the explanation on the https://www.audiogamejam.org/ page too.
But no chance I ever enter there, I have no idea where to start. And also I want to make fun games. Just sounds can be annoying fast and this is no fun then anymore. But I'll sure try your game captain :)

Cool idea for a theme creamy, but bad choice for a palette. The Mattel Aquarius palette is ugly. So to make good use of it is quite the challenge.
Well, to kick this colorin ball off easy I thought I'd start with the obvious use of the shape. Here we see a rare but hungry blue sea cucumber that spills its innards to the outside to catch its prey with the sticky slimy surface of its own stomach. There is only so much you can do when you don't have teeth!

I personally like Photoshop for everything. Avoid gimp. Rather go with asesprite or maybr krita.
