once I was against Hollywood remakes but recently they are really getting better. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo comes to mind especially. I'm not saying all remakes are getting better than the original, but they get better in capturing the essence of the original and even improving on it. The Evil Dead Remake is also said to be good but I haven't had a chance to see it yet.
So I think I'll see this flick right after watching the original again before.

finally gotten around to play and complete it, I like those kind of stories and the visuals are also cool and unique, a really nice but short game!

dark #1 (dark #2 is also cool, but I really tried to narrow it down )

I do plan on doing some of the pinball ones listed, the LucasArts classics (already done FT), Battle Isle 2200 and Lemmings (although I want to do Diggers 2 before Lemmings). I absolutely cannot stand Mortal Kombat, and more to the point think it's hideous. 

Well, you can screw the gameplay mechanics of MK compared to tekken and the like, but there is some morbid graphical beauty in the game. The whole selling point of the game is the over the top violence in pixels that attracts teenage players and some fatalities, which are the only reason to play the game, are gruesome and creative in one. I'd screencap and gif the hell out of MK

This looks very nice.
Giving the sky a more torquise-to-white colortint makes the sky look less rainy and using a really bright yellow, almost white with a glow effect for the sun could also look better.

only played about 25% of the games. even though they are short a longer voting deadline would be nice.
