everything is just pixelperfect, especially the waves, with Anian coming in close as a second, that little starfish is really cool, but at the masts of the ships are some odd pixels...

in your case I'd place a big hotspot on the ground in front of the alley (and on the alley) and when the player hovers the mouse over it make a big arrow appear on the ground pointing into the alley. Would this work in your setup? Of course when clicked the player enters.

but I'm stuck on level 7, after killing the robot the door is shut and there is not hint to the combination of the door or am I missing something?

If you have a finished Background image I could try to make the spurt with particles in after effects. Every now and then I play around with AE and this seems like a good thing to do with it and get some more practise with AE. But I haven't found a way to render out pngs or gifs with transparency so I'd need the totally finished background or at least the area where the watersprout will be seen. Applying changes to this will be tricky afterwards of course. And if you have some different images to indicate the puddle getting bigger I can also add this in.

nice, I really like the contrast between the water color and the rock color.

making straight lines with PS is also simple, just click where you want to start, hold shift and click where the line should end. shift is the 'make perfect' button! better practise your curved lines to develop your own style and get a swoosh in your lines, basic geometry is aided by PS. And you can also never get enough practise in shading.

About these balls, do you realise you are indeed allowed to use the Photoshop marquee tool and when shift+dragging the elliptical marquee tool you will select a perfect circle and can then paint in it and shade it without painting over the lines?!

okay, pixeled something up and you can even have some characters move in the foreground with a tint of 100% black in this scene. Should do this in a game one day...

@Frito: Yay, my first remix (of something I remixed). Nice what you did there, exactly what I was hoping for when I made this and flushed it down the intertubes. Can you post it on DA so I can link it somehow there?

I like the idea behind the harlem shake and the videos are really crazy, but the music sucks donkey balls. After all it's just another internetmainstream fad, you don't have to take part in every fashion the others like, but if you want to, at least you need some basic artistic knowledge to take part in it, you  must know how to make at least one cut in a video and add audio to a video. This is a good barrier to weed out stupid stuff coming in. I wonder when OSD will become the new internetsensation, I mean even bigger than he is right now!
