Dammit, it sits there for three days unguessed while I'm away, then selmiak guesses it (I'm pretty sure) twenty minutes before I see it!

8-) (laugh) 8-)

:-D :-D :-D 8-) :-D :-D :-D

obviously I wouldn't have guessed it from the trip hallucination, but I gotta rewatch that movie now just for that :)

I met Herman on planet Flormonomon, he asked me to take a picture of him smiling. I took the picture and when I wanted to show him the pic, he vanished. All I have left is this picture of him where he doesn't really smile at all.

The games are rated and awarded, Aye Fair Lady won, I didn't like it though, too much singing ;)

I played another one of the games:

What many people may find off putting is Pico-8's self imposed limitations, you have to squeeze all of your graphics onto a 128,128 png.

you don't mean you can use only one png for a whole game, do you?

I guess that part of the issue is that, starting from 0001-01-01 generates an incredibly high (and likely useless) number (1168441 days from 0001-01-01 to 3200-01-31). Because of this I can't run just the iteration because of the iteration limit for the for loop.

then start at 3000-01-01 or whatever is closest to the ingame start date and add the numbers, or rather start at 0001-01-01 for easier calculating and calculate this internal and just add 3000 or so years every time you put out a date for the player to see.

I didn't quite know him so good but think he was very involved with everything he did. All the best to his friends and family. May he rest in peace.

for those just interested but too lazy to play (which you should!) here is a longplay of the demo already

this is cool. I like weird constructions like this. And this is not the critiques lounge, still let me tell you when the bus is so close to the waterline it is very hard to read where that bus is, if it is a giant bus on the shore in the background or part of the construction. I'd just move the whole building up a few more pixels so that there is a gap between the bus and the horizont. or move the building also to the left, rule of thirds like...
Keep it up!

Is that vulcano by any chance inspired by recent event in hawaii? But then, when I see something like this in a game I also want to visit this place in game, to forge the one ring or to melt proto-J like the terminator in T2 ;)

Soon, there will be fire in the sky! Or was it just an Echo in the clouds?!
