This game looks interesting. quite the moody atmosphere.

The photograph between the pixelated images looks a bit out of place though.

I feel this really needs a specific clearance / licensing  on it. If someone just uploads the demo game to Steam, I doubt they'll be looking to credit the authors.

If someone just uploads the demo game to Steam I would expect them to either do this to make a quick buck with a demogame (oh, the immeasureable riches lol), so I wouldn't expect any credit from that person (but still demand it), rather confusion by everyone why this is even happening. Or someone uploads the maybe soon to exist demogame to steam to interest people in AGS coding, then I'd sure expect that person to write some interesting article on the steam game description to really attract new users and within that text I'd just expect that person to credit the sources. Of course expectations can be subverted by reality, but then, what other reasons are there to upload a game engine demo game to steam...

Imho do what you want with the template, make a new game from it, make a new demo game from it, but credit the sources.

There is this: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6236
but it's for the very old blender 2.56 version, current is 2.79b with 2.8 soon to arrive.

it would be more convenient to view if you scale down the images or don't upscale them in the first place...

I should learn how to code python into blender just to cut up an actual movie and arrange all the single frames onto that arraycurve too... maybe not  :-D

still playing around with the colors and ambient lights...

the animations inbetween are cool, but the normal game graphics look very basic, reduced and ugly to me. Even on the C64 there has been a better use of color to make sweeter gfx.

either use dynamic sprites, but this is not that easy for a beginner or just make the whole screen an inventory and make the choices/option inventory item and inventory item mouse cursors, add them all on room entry to the player inventory  (cCharacter.AddInventory(iInvitem);) and code your interactions this way.

reusing GUI elements and inventory sprites of generic items would save me a lot of time.

somebody please use this:
https://github.com/caesarcub/AGS-SCI-Template

maybe we can add some generic inv items to the template, like rope, lighter, flashlight without batteries, gun, flamethrower...

Concept: selmiak - looking outwards from the back alley, rather than into it, is an interesting idea and the mistiness adds an air of mystery to the place.

what do you mean, outwards from a back alley? This is a snapshot from out of my home, uhm, cardboard box... :P

Thanks for all your hard work on AGSA Peder. Is it possible for everybody to just upload a mirror of every game in the archive.org collection?

glad you like Black Morph Kyriakos. It was made in a month for a MAGS competition and we ran out of time, thus the abrupt end. Also it wasn't continued... yet 8-)

have you played it in fullscreen or in original resolution?  :-D
