QuoteWas the guy hiding on the campus and just picking people off at opportunity?  He's dead now so I guess we have to wait for witnesses to answer that one.

He was a student at the college and according to the, several pages long, suicide note he wrote he wanted to get back at the spoiled rich kids and the bullies. The guy was just mad at the world it seems.

VA Tech is a notorious party school in addition to it's presitgious engineering program.  Collegehumor.com (online posting board for debauchery and funny stuff) noted that VA Tech is their largest contributor.  It's not a happy environment for any sort of moralist.

And to re-enforce what a couple of people have already said, supposing that I was a pathological asshole who wanted to kill a bunch of people I would NOT need a gun.  The kids at Columbine High had all sorts of improvised weapons and explosives.  The internet is full of this information - with a small bag of (legally obtained) fertilizer and some nitric acid I could make enough nitroglycerine to take out most of the people in one of those large auditorium style classrooms.

It's not NRA propaganda, it's the truth.  Why can't you see that?  It was easier to do it with a gun, but it doesn't take a lot of effort to do better.  If someone is mentally determined to do something like that a lack of ready-made weapons would not stop them.

What I worry about is the fear-mongered backlash to this.  A pretty minor incident (despite being the worst school shooting ever) is going to make way out of proportion changes to our law.  At the University of Oklahoma someone reported that a guy was carrying a suspicious object wrapped in a yoga mat from the gym.  They locked down the campus.  It was an umbrella.  This morning one of my friends there told me:

there was a fake sign up supposedly from Housing & Food yesterday that was like "due to the recent tragic events at VA Tech, President Boren has opted to make all access to all University doors secure-access only. He hopes this will allow residents to conform to the American norm of constant fear and paranoia. Thank you for your cooperation.
it looked just like all the other signs

In all seriousness, a lack of sleep is great for my creativity.

I don't really know about the drugs.

MAGS is a notorious hangout for psychadelic and cocaine addicts.  Tell them I sent you.

All of these "See a doctor" posts are ridiculous, if you posted at enough off-topic forums about your obscure medical issue I'm sure someone would have eventually said anemia.

I had the common cold when I was playing the game and the solution did nothing for me whatsoever.

Thanks a lot, asshole.

The game was fun though.  :D

I try to make my blogs interesting and show things that are important to me in my daily life. Isin't it better than getting attention by showing off my boobs?  ;D

Depends on how nice your boobs are.

If you have MS Office I can tell you how to do it in MS Word.. I didn't even know Corel was still around.  That really brings me back.

Sometimes I expose/touch myself in public restrooms. This wouldn't really be a problem but most of the time it's the wrong restroom.

Get a bedpan and keep it close to the computer.

I think it's ridiculous that homosexuals are still screened from giving blood in the US.

I've done it, I should do it regularly but it just doesn't happen. It's hard for me to decide whether it's safe or not, 'cause last time I passed out and was woozy all day. It's kind of a bad idea with all the driving that I do.

You can give blood at any hospital or Red Cross center, they're glad to take it. There are always blood shortages it seems and hospitals have to pay outside sources for their supplies. Your free blood is much appreciated, after they test it for HIV and such.

Here that Rusalka? Quit bitching about Ireland just because you didn't care for a strict diet of potatoes and beer.

As in-demand as paramedics are (everywhere) they are generally treated like crap as employees, forced to work huge shifts (I've known paramedics placed on shifts exceeding 24 hours with no sleep) get pay that is what an experienced general laborer might expect (while paramedics still must attend some school or training at least), and laid off, as you were, when hospitals reduce their contracts.

You could go out of country, but I wouldn't recommend the states because the same sort of thing can happen here.  I live in the midwest, maybe it's different in the cities, but I kind of doubt it.

How is GoDaddy for a host? I just signed on for a couple of months with them, not $10 a year but still not a bad deal.

Night Terrors aren't so age-sensitive.  I have a friend who is 23 years old and she still gets them regularly unless someone she knows well is in the room sleeping with her.

At least.. that's what she told me.

I don't visit the forum for a year and some odd days and then I get a picture of a photoshopped asian kid in my inbox.

What happens if I go for two years?

I have screenshots for you.

This is a Curse of Monkey Island spin-off that never made it to completion.  It was made using the Blender game engine in the Resident Evil style 3d/2d mixed views.

Here's what the player sees:

Here's what it looks like from a designer's point of view:

He simply pasted a 2d image in and matched the corners to the camera's view.  After that he could look through the camera and see where to set the player boundaries, 3d objects, etc.

Does that answer your question?
