I live in the US, but I work with 5 people that are from the UAE.  The weird thing is that none of them are UAE citizens.  They're Pakistani, Saudi, etc.  Are you a citizen?

I quit myspace when News Corp. bought it. The implications of Fox news owning my pictures/personal information/blogs bothered me.

Also, I never used it anyway.

After finding out how expensive it is to regularly drink good beer (microbrews and imports), I think you will get used to drinking ass. Call it an acquired taste.

Or I could make it in my closet.  :D

QuoteI've got to ask this: How much does beer cost in the States?

A 12 bottle box of Budweiser select is $10 USD. Cheap stuff, namely Keystone, is half that but tastes so disgusting that I'd rather not talk about it.

American beer tastes like ass. I'm told that this is because rice has been used with the beer stock ever since prohibition ended in the states so we don't have the full beer flavor that is supposed to be there. Even worse, this light beer craze is nuts. That stuff tastes like watered down ass.

It all gets me drunk, and quickly, but what're some good beers that I might find imported and in a low-point state?

I'm glad to be aboard. I will proceed by setting up a 30x30ft poster here (at night time ina ski mask) of Him at my school. I live in Oklahoma so I risk possible Captial Punishment for not believing in Christianity, but it is a risk I must take to further the cause of our Church. If I make it back I will make sure to bring pictures.

I didn't know anyone else here lived in Oklahoma.. I've never noticed you on the world map.

I'm in Stillwater, attending OSU. I drive to the NE part and through Tulsa constantly, as my parents live in Tahlequah and Keota respectively and I have friends in Tulsa.

Where are you?

More on topic.. I was the only proclaimed atheist in my high school and people tried to convert me all the time. Once in math class a girl told me to my face that I was a satanist because if you weren't Christian or any other religion then you had to be a satanist according to the bible.

p.s. I'm drunk, happy birthday to me

... Which is why I have never filled out dodgy internet surveys that ask for an overwhelming amount of personal information and offer a chance to win a free iPod or ten cents in return.

You should really be having this conversation with your wife.

The store who sold you the CD would most likely be held liable, though I don't doubt that it's possible to get Sony.

And even Micro$oft now says Sony's rootkit is classified as spyware and will be giving users means to detect and remove it with an upcoming update of it's anti-spyware software:

It doesn't surprise you that Microsoft would helpt to publicly make Sony look bad, does it?

Haha, awesome! Douche bags in England wear clothing with a special pattern so that you can easily identify them!

You did bake the insides with the color red and include gummy worms, right?

But I have an eccema in my leg!

Use a soap with urea in it. Works wonders.

Cross white trash with inner urban council estates [Which you don't have in the land of rent control] and some kind of mangled urban culture, and you're getting closer.

Speak American English!

But being that Ireland and England both have chavs, and I don't know what a chav is, doesn't that make them the same country?

Off-topic but no they're not!

Yes they are!

"CyberJokester Wallace Krebs has an update on the Sony rootkit story. They received so much heat over it that they now offer a patch to remove the virus and give you back control over your CD drive.

Oddly enough, according to Slashdot comments the patch phones home to alert Sony that you've patched. The (rootkit) proggy phones home every time you play or attempt to play the CD too.

He's adorable, my other son (my avatar), already hates him, but he will get over it eventually!

Until he does, hide the pillows. I remember when my little brother was born.. I'm still trying to get that little bastard.

PS2-Edit: I think that they look really alike Kostas and my other son (Dimitris), don't you agree?

If you hadn't posted that it was your new son I would have thought it was an older pic of your firstborn.

Shortly after this thread was started I accidentally somehow sort of got myself into an internet relationship.

I thought you met him at the airport? He's from the internet now!?

It's hard because he lives in the UK and I live in Ireland.

'Course, yours may not be -that- serious, but you did ask :)

I got it checked out by a clinic, he told me it was common/nothing serious and to go to a specialist and I haven't yet.

I was just curious exactly how common this was 'cause I'd never heard of it before. For the longest time I thought it was some booger that wouldn't go away, then I looked. Ugh.

I've popped those before. They leave massive spots that make it look like a failed piercing. If you leave them be, they get huge and red anyway. I never realized they were cysts though..

No winning.

That thing in my nose, that's definately a polyp (tumor). I hate that thing too. I intend to get it removed eventually. Anyone else have one of those?

If you want a more concrete proof, try to rename your favourite ripping software as $sys$whatever.exe and then run it again. You'll notice that the DRM system can no longer detect it, and thus you'll get good copy of the track you try to rip instead of one filled with noise."

Interesting how a side-effect of the DRM software is that it allows you to hide other software from itself.
