I once had one that would spit out DXF files. Can't remember what it was called for the life of me, but one does exist.

I'll look for it tomorrow, I don't have time now, but good luck.

Ask on some 3d forums in the meantime, cgtalk.com, elysiun.com

I think my job placement exam told me I should be in IT or programming. I'm going to school to be an Electrical Engineer, and it's damn hard. Consider years of intense study in Math if you think about being an Engineer.

If you're only after the women, just go to college. My school has so many hot foreign chicks, and they would love to have American citizenship..err.. boys.

QuoteThat or the "second coming" of Christ.

It took me a second to get that, but once I did, I couldn't stop laughing. That would be one hilarious breach of good taste for a porn movie.

The other day, I was talking to a girl with the nickname GodsXgirlfriend, and I thought it was a little funny:

Quoteshbazjinkens: i was talking to god a couple of hours ago and he told me to tell you, "I want my TV back, bitch."
GodsXGirlfriend: well you can tell him to come and get it his damn self

And also, my bud Mallory is always fun to talk to:

Quotethat annie dog: YES I DONT DO THAT NORMALLY
shbazjinkens: yes well how often are you normal
that annie dog: all the time
that annie dog: cept for that one time
shbazjinkens: pretty optimistic for someone who pissed their pants
that annie dog: yeah

Quotethat annie dog: if you come scratch my back i will give you a quarter
shbazjinkens: if i go scratch your back you will give me a LOT more than a quarter
shbazjinkens: i don't contract STDs for cheap
that annie dog: how much
that annie dog: I HAVE NO STDS YOU JERK

I was thinking it'd make a perfect parody adventure game when I first read the synopsis.

What would you do for a Klondike bar?

Actually, I thought I was on a 1 mbps connection but I went into my network places and opened the connection dialog and it says I'm connected at 10.0 mbps. Hmm.

ScottDoom, you bastard. You BASTARD.

I have a one megabit-per-second connection from my dorm too. Most bigger universities have 1 mbps taps.

Just like everyone else, it's rare for me to get more than 150 kbps.

I lived with dial-up for 5 years though. I hate it like the devil.

QuoteAh, but that all matters where your positive quardrant is at. Your positive (1st) quardrant can go anywhere.

But by default it is in the bottom left, and there really isn't any reason for it to be anywhere else that I can think of. I've only been using it a couple of weeks because I just started the class though, so I think you know more about it than me. I didn't expect you'd have a copy of Autocad because it's such an expensive program and hard to find pirated.

Good luck with that earlobe arthiritis CorCad. Maybe you can stretch it to 6 1/2 and make the game a bit longer.

Evil, what CAD programs? You may be confused as to what he's talking about. Engineers use professional software designed around the old method of using a drafting board to draw out our Engineering wonders. In AutoCAD, the program I'm learning for Electrical Engineering, the coords also start from the bottom left. It is consistant with the coordinates system in Calculus, Trig, and all other maths except there is no need for negative numbers so they are ommitted. It goes with the standard thought that up and right are positive and down and left are negative. In computing I believe the reason coords would start in the top left would be because that's where your monitor begins drawing pixels. Makes sense, right?

If you catch on fire, always, ALWAYS, run away quickly with your arms flailing. It has been said that this is the only way to put out the fire.

Uh, use google for simple questions like this. It isn't hard information to find.

You need a script to do this, and it'll need a place to store information sent by the visitor. Generally you're not going to be able to do this with a free site, so there are places that offer free polls that display ads and relay information between your site and theirs. I used to find lots of great free stuff for websites at http://www.thefreesite.com, you should find a poll somewhere in there.

To send video you're going to need to find out what ports are open through your firewall and use those, or find out which one you need and open it. I don't know much about it, but I use Yahoo and MSN to camchat with ZoneAlarm.. no problems.

For your website though? Evil.. are you gonna be a cam whore?

I liked the physical work, but sometimes it just sucks. I came out of last summer with more muscles and I was extremely fit (those fire extinguishers weighed 45 lbs. apiece and I was always carrying two up and down stairs). The downside was that for about a week I was walking on fire because I sunburned my feet.. I couldn't get out of work because they would have fired me for taking a sick day. So I walked on fire for a week. I came home every night and soaked my feet in saltwater for hours. The pay was great for an internship, but if I would have been seriously ill or broken a bone I would have been screwed. Not necessarily so if you are in data entry or something.

I had a job at a factory once, fortunately it wasn't as monotonous because I went all over the factory and various facilities inspecting fire equipment. Some people there worked 12 hour shifts and all they did was pack toilet paper into boxes and place it on a conveyor belt. Wow. Talk about non-stop excitement. I believe some of those jobs are disappearing though due to automation, which is unfortunate for Muskogee, OK because that is the only thing that keeps the high school dropouts from working at gas stations at min. wage.
